Oh snap, look at that, they would still have the opportunity to make it MYLO as you claim they are doing right now. They lose absolutely nothing by waiting to see if they get a kill tonight and gain an insta-win if they did kill. There is no reason to use the day kill today to set up MYLO if town was about to be mis-lynched. In fact, they would lose a very strategic play by doing what you claim they are doing.
