I'm not scum and I'm not pushing for any angle to get suspicion off me, I'm analyzing the game from the perspective that I'm town. You should be asking whether what I'm saying makes sense from a town perspective.

If HD is scum, for sure Empking is scum just based on HD's completely unrealistic suspicion of Empking throughout the entire game.

not by name. just that my long term partner was executioner smough. so he was town whoever was him. i just didn't know who executioner smough was until DDD died.

I'm actually trying to figure out who the scum are. Why are you construing that as scummy?

Obviously, either HD or ThAd is scum. The issue here is who the last scum is. The no-kill was obviously the result of scum targeting Nacho so he's town. Levi's claim makes sense, as Nacho pointed out. That leaves Empking or VP as scum.

Empking started D2 off by immediately pushing for an Iece lynch instead of a PV lynch. I'd say that's definitely opportunistic/informed -- trying to get a wagon going on Iece (VP's major suspect after PV) before pressure picked up on PV again. When you factor in HD's unrealistic obsession Empking, it feels like scum-on-scum bussing.

It is a combination of POE (either HD or VP unless Nacho/Levi are awesome fake-claimers) + the interactions between PV/HD/Empking.

PV defends Empking in 29 from me but in 35 ignores HD's attack on Empking. PV attempting to defend Empking from town (me), no need to defend Empking from someone who already knows Empking is scum. Then, in 189 and 235, PV implicitly defends Empking again:

as of right now the only people i'll be happy to lynch today are empking and iecerint.

Only saves on my list are Ice, Levi and Jason.

PV responds to Tiger's attack on Empking by defending Iece, ignoring Empking, and voting for SK. Why respond to Tiger's post, completely ignore Empking, and then vote for someone else entirely? The only way I see this making any sense is if Empking is PV's partner, and PV was trying to redirect Tiger's vote to SK while avoiding an explicit connection with Empking.

I discussed HD's obsession with Empking Yesterday. HD's suspicion of Empking is unrealistic. It looks awfully similar to HD's certainty that PV was scum. When you look closer, it doesn't look like HD has any emotions regarding either his votes on PV or Empking. For example, in 251 it looks like HD has forgotten his early push on Empking. If you compare HD's certainty that Empking/PV are scum with HD's case on Rest, it looks like HD is trying much harder to make a case on Rest than either Empking or PV. In fact, HD's confidence regarding both of them doesn't look like scum-town, especially in light of HD's lack of confidence regarding Rest, which we KNOW was scum-town.

Empking himself takes no position on PV. He lodges his vote on Iece and leaves it there, voting for Iece as pressure mounts on PV as well as at the start of D2. Empking then sticks on Levi the entirety of D4 until it becomes clear HD is gonna get lynched. Empking has clearly been trying to direct pressure away from both PV and HD.

The idea that I was strongly trying to keep PV from getting lynched is rubbish. I never thought PV was scummy, I thought Iece was scummier and like a lot of the town I never voted PV. I was wrong, but the idea that I was trying to direct pressure away from PV is nonsense; 'the town has caught my buddy, I better put my vote on Iece that's sure to disperse it'.

I also didn't try to direct pressure from HD. Once HD falseclaimed he was caught and filleted, I just wanted answers from Levi's inconsistent claim and wouldn't have got them if I asked and unvoted.
