Shrug. I think the evidence points to itself. I haven't found CES himself scummy, but I didn't find Nacho himself scummy either. I trust the evidence more then I trust my own judgement. Nacho was clearly avoiding giving reads on CES and said he'd do a reread that never happened, it's a standard scum play. I mean this post wasn't that long ago. In the first quote Nacho doesn't sound like he's talking about someone he has a town read on. He says reasons to suspect CES to be scum, then says 'but they're fine'. It's like trying to justify a town read that you know doesn't exist.

If that's not clear enough I can look up a thesaurus to say the same thing again for you. I'm more interested in finding the third then continuing to prove why someone everyone else already thinks is scum, is scum.

I can't change the past. I also don't know what you mean with distancing because I'd probably already be voting him as scum, I'm much better at bussing then distance. I've never promised a reread that's never happened and I've never shirked talking about them when people asked me and hoped they never noticed. Just pointing out scummy things someone has done isn't scummy.

Also he's still not flipped yet. You could at least wait to see if we're right before deciding I'm their buddies.

Recently got back from a party, surprisingly not drunk but exhausted, I've gone over DV and Benmage and have taken notes so I'll write up a synopsis of their play and their interactions with Nacho when I wake up.

Empire, what do you think of the argument Nacho and CTD were having over whether to lynch N or not? I would dearly like to believe that OGML's phoning it in is coming from a limping scum.

I honestly thought about that at some point during the last Night phase and the only thing I could come up with is that traitors don't make sense (on my other site, traitors work very differently mechanically and are very rarely used). Reading over them again, the CTD/Nacho interaction is kind of weird for scum/scum even without the N stuff but it seems even weirder for posts like CTD's #522 to come across like him trying to persuade Nacho to bus -- I don't really have anything to substantiate this though. Basically, at this point, I'm ready to ditch everything CTD said as WIFOM-laced red herring type nonsense and just pursue other leads especially given that we have another scum flip to mine through for interactions.

PoE, like I said before. Thinking over the number of townreads I have, especially the strong ones, I have a really hard imagining a scum team without CES in it so I think he's the best shot at hitting scum today.

CES + Nacho:

In 705 the part on CES has noticeably the least content of everyone. I actually don't think scum would very likely do this to their buddy, but I'm not sure it's enough to make him more town than anyone else.

1344 seems really awkward if they're buddies.

Nacho answering questions for CES is also really weird... Again, I think it might point away from them being scum together.

1497 is interesting because it's not very long before deadline, CES includes Nacho in his scumteam, Nacho is the most viable looking counterwagon at that stage, CES is voting for someone else, and I also think he's generally willing to compromise on lynches, so

On the other hand, why not just vote for Nacho if they're scum together? I mean, I don't think he could've had much hope in OGML being lynched over him/Nacho at that stage? So Eh, maybe slightly more likely from scumbuddies.

I'll have to think about all this again later and obviously go through everyone else, but I'm not sure if I'll want to lynch CES now.

Why is it weird to ask why your scumbuddy can't be town when you're not commiting either way with the question? That post 1497 you linked to is pointing towards CES not saying anything about Nacho at all (if you're trying to prove me wrong on OGML it hurts me inside though).

Empire, it is very unlikely that both the traitor knew who the scum are and the scum knew who the traitor was. That would not really be much different from having an additional scumteam member. Usually only one (if any) is aware of the other I think.

They wouldn't give more, but I don't think they'd be likely to give a lot less either. As scum, I think you're very aware of how you're treating your buddies and giving less content on a buddy is the kind of thing that scum would think would look bad, but really it's not hard to just do the same amount of content on your buddy as everyone else (which is what scum want to do to make their interactions with everyone look the same) and I really don't think this is an attempt to make CES

I find it mildly amusing that the person who has proven she's not reading the game over and over got annoyed at being asked to answer something shed already answered.

I still think there's something to the ctd interactions with nacho and shadoweh, and it sure does look like nacho tried to start a benmage counterwagon to shadoweh on day two. Unless nacho was bussing. Don't feel real great about that though. I'm just more suspicious of shadoweh as her play just oesnt make sense or town.

What does that have to do with anything? You're a poster child for how being hypocritical isn't a scumtell. The only way I see CTD's posts is he was trying to hint that he knew I was town because he was scum to Nacho or something. The two of them had weird conversations about eveeryone. I think CTD was picking fights with him on purpose.

Benmage probably isnn't scum so he was probably not bussing Benmage. My play doesn't make sense as a person maybe, but town has the right to be irrational.

Oh yes, please explain what you liked about Nacho's case on me. I don't think you did before.

Overall, his posting just seems really town. Only weird thing is maybe trying too hard to sound open to a Nacho lynch without actually lynching Nacho. Maybe that's a better explanation of what I was trying to say before, but even with that they don't work that well as scum together, so I don't think I'll be going here.

First, N stuff.

122 could maybe not be possible from scum because of being too worried about sounding too certain (almost like a scumslip in a way). It's N though, so I'm not sure.

The really extended Nacho = scum thing is nicely explained by them being buddies though...

Defending of N could be with N-town or scum.

N not being in Nacho's wall of reads could be a slight point away from buddies.

Aaand, there's nothing much at all from the OGML side of things.
