What worries me is that we might be wrong about AA9, and the scum are just waiting until the deadline, happy to get a mislynch, but no one, scum or town, should just sit idle while they get lynched the way AA9 seems content to do.

And speaking of her, AA9 has been posting on the site this weekend, just not in this thread

I'm really having trouble with this. Maybe it's just that it's so alien to how I approach being mislynched. This is a team game. Being lynched or NKed isn't losing. And a town player about to be mislynched has the opportunity to dig and evaluate and reconsider just like everyone else does, but with an added bonus really - their reads are about to be the reads of a confirmed town player if the mislynch happens.

This is an opportunity. It doesn't look townish to not take advantage of that opportunity.

A replacement of VisceraEyes will happen after seventy-two hours have passed from when I announced the original replacement. If this happens, there will be a deadline extension to accommodate the new replacement.

Yes I see she was scum. I reviewed at least one of those games early on when she posted that amazing WoT case on me, and I found enough differences between this game and that one that I couldn't see her posting such a pile of tripe case if she's scum.

I'm not leaning town very strongly on her, but I didn't think the meta case for her being scum was very strong at all.

You have experiential meta - games you both played where she was scum. One more time into the meta-pile, then.

667 - this is quite picky, I had a quick ISO of gm in some scum and some town games (and by quick, I mean Ctrl + F "reads") and whilst she does give more reasons in town games like that, she also gives reasons in scum games too. It's worth remembering, but it's quite a null tell and not particularly lynch worthy (and, that said, nothing meta-related is lynchworthy unless it's seriously bad., so bad I can't even think of an example.)

671 - agree wrt Z painting himself as a townie, it's like he's trying to encourage a case against GM. Don't really like it, GM says "not enough reads" and he tells her to stop attacking a townie. It's not a good reaction.

673 - Can't say I like paragraph one where you focus on only three players. I know you have town reads on a fair amount of people but I personally like to keep an open mind, or try to, throughout a game. Also, you seem pretty certain Angel is scum: should she flip town, who would you be looking at?

681 - this is the truth.

684 - not a good post. The "I AM TOWN" just stands out for me like it's her only defence, and not alot of scumhunting going on as a defence other than accusing herself of being in GM's way. Then she goes onto tell Rev to sheep her.

Been 48 hours since I last posted, but approximately nothing new has happened. ArcAngel continues to make non-arguments, everyone else posts things that I basically would have expected from them, so nothing new going on here. Still waiting on someone to post something worthwhile from Carey's slot. Still treading water waiting for the deadline to draw nearer so that people might actually start the hammer process.

I mainly I meant that no one said anything that made me change my read on them, but also that it was uninteresting and boring to read. Waiting on replacements is boring. People saying they're waiting on replacements is boring. Me complaining of boredom is boring. Doing things the optimal way in games is sometimes just not the best play from a boredom standpoint. For those of you playing multiple games at once you probably don't care much, but I can't accept that commitment. I'm really disappointed every day when I come back to this thread and see so little of interest, especially after went went down the first few days.

Not usually, but on occasion. The most common reason a no-lynch might purposefully occur is in a MyLo situation with only one scum party. Most times the benefits of the potential for information and the potential to hit Scum outweigh the costs of a potential mislynch.

@Fe: Yeah, that does happen sometimes. The best thing I can suggest is that you take the downtime to reread, reevaluate, and maybe find something new that you missed before? This is definitely a situation that is being compounded by the volume of replacements and lack of volume of comments from them.
