There may or may not be a doc in this game setup not sure on that...

Unless there is some kind of modifier, thats all a PGO is they do not have some active role just kill whomever targets them. So claiming is really not a big deal. The main thing is whether or not they are fake claiming... atm I am leaning to not so ...

First off, we apologize to everyone if we played this role incorrectly. We had a back-and-forth about how to do this claim, and both fery and I decided that this is the best way.
We are claiming Paranoid Gun Owner. Town PRs, do not target us.

Why use "claiming", why not just say "we are PGO".

The reason we decided not to claim at daystart was that we were afraid that because of how difficult our slot would be to read, we would be instant lynched and that would not at all be a good outcome for town. Knowing our scumhunting skills, we wanted to help town as much as we could, let you guys come to your unbiased decision on your reads on us, and then do this claim.

That being said, we had to claim before nightfall today because should there be a doctor (and there probably will be, because of how anti-town PGO is), we do not want to be protected. We are absolutely fine with taking down a scum (maybe the last, if DGB flips scum) on our way down. That would be a good use of our role.

This logic makes no sense. You dont know if there is a doc, but you know that there are scum... and you are a likely night kill... why out? The line of thinking that scum might target you anyway is pretty ridonk.

We understand that we may be policy lynched sometime down the road—it may be Day 2, it may be at lylo, and PLing us at lylo may well lose us the game. That is understandable.

So, let me get this straight, you out and you can understand a policy lynch at the same time. These two statements dont go together. Either you realize that you will be a misslynch and come to the conclusion that you should stfu, or...

Do not quicklynch us tomorrow, because we want to give our final thoughts to a game both of us have spent a lot of time and effort into.

To those of you wondering—there is absolutely no scum motivation to this. If we were scum, we are sending the doctor off to protect someone other than us, which increases the likelihood of them protecting the night kill. If we were scum, we are pointlessly increasing suspicion on ourselves.

No scum motivation? Scum would scare of investigative roles.
