I am surprised with night choice of Mafia. If i am mafia i would kill majiffy first. so being Majiffy alive.. i am doubting my town read on him

Why would majiffy get nk, he was wrong, he was scummy. He isnt top three best player in this lineup.

I felt majiffy is town and i thought Mafia may target him in the night, I would do it, If i am the mafia and i don't understand why mafia targed the Icebox. Feels weird

Majiffy was wagoned, people thought and think he was and is scummy, there is no reason to night kill someone like that.

Icebox was killed becuase no one thought he was scum, and possibly because he was on to vansoor.

my group of three is more of a representation of what i think wins us the game (if it has 2 scum then we win if we only lynch within those 3)

Rereading icebox, he has vansoor as towny for most of the game, quite strongly.

Dont think that speaks well for icebox being killed over having vansoor as scummy, which he has in the end of the day.

Icebox also had the most experience with vansoor's game. A change of heart from Icebox would be really bad for his longterm survival. With Icebox dead, his town read is in amber now and until the game ends.

If you were scum-Vansoor, who would you kill?

I felt that icebox wasnt alone in his vansoor=scum suspicion.... so i dont really buy that line of thinking.

Svenskt...WHAT scum read? This is Icebox's last mention of Vansoor in the game thread. He had Vansoor as town and said it would be really hard to chaange his mind.

@Sel: also, don't expect me to change my read on Varsoon so easily. Once I set a strong town/scum read, it's really hard for me to break out of it without some major stuffs.

No I did not, though I can see why it read that way. I was saying that if day 2 or later Icebox had a change of heart about Vansoor it would have had a pretty significant effect. Even with his town read on Vansoor I couldn't get past what I feel was scummy play on Vansoor's part.

There are sooooo many effective counter-intuitive scum actions I've seen in games. But something that counter-intuitive probably wouldn't be the brainchild of a player on their second mafia game (and first as scum).

If DGB were scum (and in your conjecture, if we were scum), why would we divert wagon off a mislynch, and hammer on our buddy's wagon?

Sven's attack on you is really bugging me in pages 48 and 49. Looks like scum trying to force a ML on a known PR. He even uses language on page 49 that alludes to his

knowing

you're town.

Also there's his comment on the NK death which has always been a favorite scumtell of mine.

The NK death comment caught my eye too, though it is neither cheerleading nor reverse cheerleading. What it is NOT is any sort of analysis or speculation about what the kill target could tell us about the scum team.

Most of what I got from pages 48-49 is that Selkies is fucking stupid town overall, though there was a post or two in there that appeared to consider we could be scum.
