@Deras: None of those attempt in any way to deflect attention from Carey. I use several points (meta, speed of read buildup) to ascertain that I believe his slot to be Town. One person saying "I think this guy is Town" =/= one person saying "we should ignore this guy".

But it you kept saying, don't vote him he's not worth it.

Point me explicitly to an argument I have made, and I will reconsider it and return with a more thorough exposition of it, or an acquiescence that I was wrong.

I'd like to see these as well please.

GM:

1) I think you've way overblown the Fropome thing, looking for something to grab onto and continuing to do so for no good reason.
2) The fact that you explicitly asked me only for my read of you still weighs heavily on my mind as something that you would have done as scum in that situation and not as town.
3) The part of 170 that Deras pointed out in 216 and your reaction to that in 316. You were caught and tried to twist it, and it only got in deeper.
4) Continually not even reading and understanding what's posted, like when you asked what I find scummy about posts that I made (800 and 806). You clearly didn't even read them, you just assumed that I was being unspecific and wanted more details.

Reiterating for emphasis: 877 is a scum slip. She clearly didn't even read the linked posts before making the comment because she's assuming I didn't make them (which I did). If she really wanted to know what I found scummy about certain posts, one would assume she had read them.

And I'm not totally sold on her being scum for it, for the same reason I wasn't sold on Carey being scum. I just think she still feels pressure to lynch ANYONE ELSE, and that comes from self-preservation as town as well as scum. It's not very good game play, but we can't all be the best.

@Deras: I was saying "this is why I am not voting him." I was not saying "don't vote him," but even if I were that still =/= "ignore him."

IC answer: It's counterproductive because you can start building cases based solely on associative tells, letting actual tells from others go unnoticed even, and then if you lynch one and they flip Town it's back to the drawing board AND it can falsely make the other one look Town to you as well even if they aren't.
Basically it's just that you don't know. Now, if you say "I think X is Scum. I think Y is Scum. I also think they happen to make sense as a team." that's a bit different. But I'm seeing both blended together and honestly it's better to just wait for a flip, any flip, before pair speculation.

And i am afraid of getting lynched. I am very well aware that not all town team will survive to the end, i know that some of us will have to be either mislynched or night killed by mafia, i just didn't want to go down without a fight.

It's looking like GM is trying to pry apart people who recognize each others' thought processes by claiming that we're just agreeing, when that's far from the truth. She might even push it off as part of her IC behavior and to some extent what she's saying is correct, but the problem is that she's mischaracterizing our arguments and the lines of our reads saying that we just happen to agree. I'd serious consider voting for her again in the future, but for now we just need to get Carey's replacement to talk a bit about the game before we lynch ArcAngel.

That's me making a claim about a player behavior. If it's a misrep, then it's a misrep. But only you know if it is or not, so it's totally unfair to call it a false argument from me. From my perspective, that's what I'm seeing out of you. Several players have seemingly read my mind, I find them Town for it, and you're just telling me to ignore that because I shouldn't assume people who agree with me are Town when it's not the fact that they agree with me leading me to think they're Town.

I assumed when you said I made a false argument it would be something verifiably so, not something that you claim as false where you're the only one who could know if it's false.

I'm sorry, I don't get how reacting to reaction tests has the slightest thing to do with 170/216/316. Are you saying you're not very good at employing reaction tests on other people? That doesn't exactly clear you, because then you're the only one claiming that you meant it as a reaction test. It's much more likely that it's as Deras implied.

The vote on VE was to get him to read the thread; I agree that he's not particularly scummy for making those arguments, but he very clearly had not read the thread, and that's a cardinal sin as far as I'm concerned. I succeeded in getting him to do so, and he succeeded in making me rethink the case on AA9. Winners all around, sorta.
