i think pirate mollie is town but there's nothing i can do to change her read so i'm fine with just trolling her. as previously stated i think that gene1991 guy is town as well, but specifically newbie-town. the entirety of my read on him depends on his newb-status.

people like nick/david jones/leviathan/fflhawk are all varying levels of null to scummy, because they're a few steps above the non posters in terms of activity yet they aren't saying anything of substance. and of course there is all the non posters or 1 post posters.

So if I had to guess, right now I think that there's gonna be 1 scum out of either borno or nacho and probably the other scum will come out of leviathan/fflhawk. Specifically leviathan/fflhawk because they've been more than willing to discuss game theory and stuff but they haven't jumped into the real discussion yet. I would put nic into that group, except that I'm counting his self vote as a townie point.

No, I honestly don't really have scumreads because those people you mentioned aren't playing the game.

There's you and gene1991, who I think are town and I'm fairly confident about those reads. I also have the slightest of slight town reads on nic because of his self vote but he's done nothing to help that read since.

Everyone else has either not posted (borno, and basically nacho since his post may as well not even happened) or they haven't talked about their reads (levi, fflhawk.) The David Jones guy has made more of an attempt to play than the people i've just mentioned, but all of his contributions have come from a single wishy washy post so it's hard for me to think of him as pro-town.

So I'm in a situation where the people I don't have specific town reads on are the people who aren't playing the game. To call them "scumreads" is an exaggeration on my part. They are 'scumreads' only by process of elimination.

Sorry I'm not posting too much. I'm in college full-time and I work and volunteer, so I don't have a lot of time. usually only at night right before bed.
Although, since the game is moving slowly. perhaps you should restrict yourself to only visiting the thread once a day. Maybe you won't feel so impatient that it's moving so slowly. Idk.

Anyways,

The games I'm used to playing are the IRL ones, where one mafia game lasts about 5 mins. not weeks.
Listening to Pirate and bungle argue so shamefully made me remember why I stopped having an internet life.

But my opinion now is that Pirate is most certainly town. Just the way she defended herself, all offended like, read town to me.

mrbungle however, I'm even more starting to lean towards maf. Particularly because of this statement:

It's like reverse-reverse-psychology. we all might think that since you just pretended to be maf as a joke, there's no way maf would do that and bring that kind of attention on himself even as a joke. so it makes it seem like town would think it would make you not be maf. But I think it's too obvious that town would lean towards thinking that. I think maf would feel pretty safe making a joke about being maf, knowing town would assume maf wouldn't do something like that.


Anyways, I would vote for mrbungle now, but I'm still unsure of game strategies. Although I suspect him, I also think that no lynching is a good idea for day one. When in doubt, I prefer to no lynch. Tomorrow someone will die, and that will help us narrow down who could be maf. We also might get a cop report, possibly. I don't know if cops come right out with their reports in this set up. I usually played it that way. But I think we don't even know for sure yet if there is a doctor in this set up.

This is the kinda of stuff I was talking about when I said I had a town, and specifically a newbie town-read on gene1991. The level of paranoia here is just off the charts. In my experience new players who go conspiracy theory crazy are very often town.
