RVS makes people take a stance on other players in the game, even if it is a trivial one. RQS usually leads to fruitless discussion that is unfocused and distracting.

Getting out of RVS usually occurs much quicker than RQS as well, which is better for town.

There's something about your vote I don't like - I support the agenda to which it is pursuing, but the paraphrased, echoed reason you provided is...lackluster. Doesn't seem genuine. By the way--more factors for Scott being scum are just...well, read his overall iso. His posting is highly lurktastic in frequency, and the content he has in it is weak. I don't remember Scott very well, but I'm fairly decently positive I've played with him before--and that when I did so, he was better than what he's showing in this game. I can't quite put a better wording on it, but his posts feel empty and hollow--there's content there (so it's not what most people would call active lurking), but...well, it's like the words have no drive to them. (Sorry that I can't find a better way to say that.)

And overall, his pushes have been fairly bad. Not just with how weak they feel (see above), but also who they're on. Siv (townish), Fuzzy (town), Baboon/GNR (townier), and KBW (even townier ) make up the majority of his iso for suspects, along with a potshot at Psyche (our current wagon) near the end.

As I said--I really, REALLY think he's our last scum. I could be wrong, but there aren't too many players it could be other than him, and it fits with the interactions towards dead scum.

I think the game could use some prods. Nearly 24 hours have passed without posts.

Anyway, I devised a plan for PR usage.

If the cop is one of {Psyche, Scott} or has investigated either of them already, they need to claim.

Assuming neither of these have happened, here's the gameplan.
-We lynch Scott. That SHOULD be game-over, but since I'm not infallible, Scott could flip town.
-The vig vigs slimer, who has claimed VT.
-The cop investigates Psyche.

This clears/kills the three players of most suspicion. If for some reason the scum are outside of those three, we have pretty much as many days as necessary to find the least-town of our townreads and kill them 'til we hit scum. The scum can only kill one obvtown player per night, meaning that POE will crush them. I'm not exactly sure myself where we'd go from there, though, considering the strength of my townreads on Fuzzy (albeit to a slightly lesser extent), UTC, KBW, Baboon, PimHel, and even Siv (who might be the weakest link).

As I said--I don't think the game will continue, but this plan seems like a solid failsafe if for some reason I am wrong on my townreads and/or scumread(s).

Funny as lolhammers are and how hilarious it'd be that we hammered two scum in a row accidentally, I'm again playing on the safe side at the moment in the small chance I'm wrong about Scott, so I need to makes sure others are aware:

Scott is at L-1.

I don't really want anyone to unvote, but I do want people to hold off on the hammer until we've all gone over my plan and made sure it works. (Also, to give Scott a chance to claim.)
