This is taking a lot of focus and pressure off Minimal. But I don't have any reason to think that's been the purpose of it.
I should be able to check back in about an hour.
Orc started the Minimal wagon and Orc started this buldermar argument.
Are you suggesting orc is scum?
Again you aren't really contributing to this.
I think I've made it pretty damn clear that my read of Orcinus is currently town. So, how the hell did you come up with that inference? I'm suspicious of you and buldermar's throwaway FoSes.

Would you be able to make a post with a quick summary on what looks scummy about Minimal? I know Minimal said she thought HD looked scum for pushing DCL at one point, which was odd to me, but I'd like to hear it from your perspective.
In post 363, fferyllt wrote:You know what strikes me as kind of odd? The three active players atm have all FoSed me but only Orcinus threw down a vote. It looks like testing the waters.
What's odd about me not putting down a vote on you? You'll need to elaborate on this, because I think I've been quite clear about the fact that I think DCL is quite scummy and you only look possibly scummy.

You're probably town for how strong my Buld read is.
Also: We're not in a hydra anymore. You need to read arguments that involve me.
Sheeping me onto Buld would be appreciated.
I was starting to lean toward TvT on this argument before it occurred to me that I was reading my name in a lot of posts that didn't include "vote". I need to think about what that means.

@ buldermar Re post 367 tbqh you've posted comparatively little about DCL and why you think he's scum. Maybe you could reciprocate and consolidate or give me a link to your case on DCL while I congeal my thoughts about minimal.

Okay, I'll find a post in which I explain it because I know there is one somewhere.
I ♥ pirate mollie and I slurp her bathwater. I also have a big fat mancrush on awsum gandalf.
Then this - without commenting on anything related to minimal.. And the little in-between step of fos'ing before voting really just isn't compatible with how he gladly jumped on the Majiffy wagon. It's either scummy or null, depending on how you interpret it in relation to the Majiffy-vote-post.

Mac,
I agree that ff looks scummy, but for different reasons.
I think it's actually quite like her not to have a ton of reads early on.
Apparently for a whole bunch of meta reasons. Most of which you've either indicated I do as town (so therefore I'm doing them now because I'm known (to you, anyway) to do them as town, because I do them as town), or alignment neutral. I don't build my game around convincing one particular player I'm town. You appear to be suggesting that I'm doing that here - intentionally playing to meta that you know about me. Doing that would be a monumental waste of my time.
In post 329, buldermar wrote:ff, talk to me about orc? Why are you certain that he's town?
Certain? I'm not. So far his play does look like his town games that I've played with him. I am pretty sure I've played more MS games with him than with anyone else here, and I think I have a handle on what drives his early town game. I've never seen him with a scum role, though. I *think* I'd be able to detect differences, but it might take a while. So far this lines up pretty well both with his town game and perhaps as important - with that bit of paranoia players seem to develop about me after mason-like collaborations in a game.
Alright, I appreciate this.
Could you also answer my other questions?
Hopefully I'll find these other questions on reread. I was not aware of other questions, but I was more than half-asleep by the time the thread moved beyond the DCL discussion last night.

@buldermar I've gone back through your posts in the vicinity of post 346 and I haven't found anything addressed to me. You did ask if anyone has experience with Orcinus' scum game. I don't. I replied to that effect in post 341, which you quoted when you asked me to answer your other questions.
Did I miss something?

I really don't get you. I havn't FoS'ed you, I didn't even put you as probably or possibly scum in the post where I summed up my reads, yet you're all over me as if I read you as scum?

Speaking of fence-sitting, in your case, you actually posted that I looked more scummy than the player that you are voting for, and then went on to put your vote on Minimal.

This is really odd to me because I've not even FoS'ed you.
You haven't written "FoS ff" but you have damn sure articulated suspicion of me. So has Mac.
I've only articulated suspicion of you regarding
one
thing (maybe I'm not recalling correctly - in that case, point out the other things) and somehow, for a reason beyond my comprehension, I should because of this suddently have a case on you or think you're scum?

In post 331, buldermar wrote:What do you think of his (in my opinion) tunneling on me?
It does look like tunneling. Tunneling during the early phase of day 1 is something I've seen in his town game. It doesn't set off alarms, and he could be right. It happens. IME with him as a hydra, when we've had different reads on a player, it's not always the same one who is right. Orcinus having a scum read on you while I still have you moving around in the null range does not surprise me.
What do you think of him insisting on me pretending to read DCL as scummy despite at least two other people reading him the same?
I think this part of his argument is kinda weak. I may change my mind with some more rereading.
Do you think orc would be this aggressive on mislynching me as scum? (I know you don't know that I'm town, but if you go by the hypothesis of him being scum and me being town)
I know he could be this aggressive and wrong as town. I know he could be this aggressive and right as town. I haven't seen his scum game, but I believe I would see some differences in his play. He plays a fairly transparent game as town. It would be difficult to emulate as scum.
