I was rereading day 2 yesterday. I had Majiffy and Svenskt both leaning town. When Svenskt replaced out I moved him from leaning to strong town read, but didn't adjust my Majiffy read at all until after nightfall. Then I thought that if Majiffy didn't start some serious analysis day 3 he had to be scum. Day 3, no analysis, just more tunneling. Will be a lot more cautious about him in the future.

I think the key to identifying majiffy/jen for us was aa9's claim, surprisingly enough. With that, we POEd it down to Majiffy/Jen/Rach, and when we eliminated Majiffy/Rach and Jen/Rach, it had to be Majiffy/Jen.

totally makes sense too

strongman to overcome doc protection, but only one shot so it does not completely nullify the doc, and of course it would have overcome the one shot bp if had targeted on the same night while using the one shot strong man.

that one 1 shot body guard man...crazy
and jakes 1 shot bulletproof make sense to me why there wasn't night kill on night 2
i somehow also considered that it you that mafia targeted, but i couldn't open that point becuz my claim doesn't go with it... but when jeniffer counter claimed and how majiffy started busssing, it confirmed me that it is majiffy and jen.

I mean, let's assume F11 is balanced.

2 Mafia Goons, 1 Doctor, 6 Townies

So the 1-shot BP would cancel out with the 1-shot strongman (roughly). But toss in a confirmable IC?

I dunno, I feel like town had 1 PR too many.

@ Selikes with Jiffy best way to deal with him is kinda like with Thor, figure he is town at first, use his abilities for scum hunting, and if he is still around by day 3 or 4 and definitely by LYLO then lynch him he is scum

That's why I had so much trouble believing it when AA9 outed as doctor. If our not being dead hadn't made the day 4-1, which was incomprehensible for a scum team to want, I probably would have wanted to lynch her.

Sometimes "too many" specials works in scum's favor. Could have happened in this game if the nights had worked out differently.

yabbut there has to be scumhunting. what we got in this game was a lot of tunneling, not scumhunting.

Also Rach, that's not a great strategy. Because eventually you'll be in a game with you and Majiffy as town, and scum will leave you and Majiffy alive for you to mislynch him at lylo.

Good game, guys! And I think I can safely say now that I much prefer being town to scum... I feel bad lying and much prefer helping town figure out who is out to get us.

I don't mind sharing mafia qt, once Majiffy weighs in, I'm happy to post it if he doesn't.

This game was a challenge for me given the pace (I definitely did not expect a 87-page micro game), but definitely a learning experience! In retrospect, I should have killed Rach last night (not that it looks like it would have changed the outcome).

I hammered Varsoon because I didn't expect to live to the next day (I believed Selkies PGO claim). What a surprise that Arc protected them that night!

so yeah, the balance here really depended on a number of things:

1) town only had one confirmable PR
2) doc + bp could easily draw doubt into what actually blocked a kill
3) strongman needed to be used a little more strategically than I saw it used here.

Night actions coming.
