A personal addendum to 3rd party win conditions if they are remotely town-compatible. The reasons why don't matter.

Care to explain that? Or is no one here besides me capable of writing a post consisting of more than one sentence?
Nothing in your catchup post had anything of merit to add, nor did it actually address anything of merit. In fact, it was entirely a bullshit "watch me support sentiments that might result in receiving positive feelings from influential players" post.
Sickeningly scummy.

It wasn't really a catchup post...more of a skim and try to figure out what was going on post. But my questions about the two assassins are genuine, I am trying to figure out what to make of their claims right now and if you think that it is bad for me to do that, well too bad.
@fferylt, why is very important. I want to know what is motivating you to do what you are doing with what is a very confusing role and wincon.

I'm trying to be less confused about your role, not more.
The answer to your first question follows from the answer I gave. And I think my actions so far speak for themselves.
I don't see any other questions addressed to me, but I'll tackle one addressed to Mollie because I know the answer. She and I each received in our role pm the names of two players who are not assassins, e.g., not the player we need get killed. Mollie's list was orcinus and minimal. My list was buldermar and Mac.

1. What is your wincon? Can you win with town, do you have to do something else before you win with town.
2. What actions do you have, what actions have you taken already, and what results have you gotten.

It's a personal challenge that started with a promise to a town in another game about 3 years ago. I've been keeping that promise to the best of my ability with 3rd party roles ever since.
p-edit we can't win with town, but we can help town before tending to our own affairs. And we've both agreed to do that. I kinda forced the issue but Mollie agreed to work with town until at least tomorrow. I don't fully trust her to do that but it's out of my hands so I'm not worrying about it.

and also @both of you, why did you roleclaim?
because it was obvious to me that Mollie thought I was scum and that meant I didn't have the leverage to get her lynched on my own. She'd role claim. I decided to role claim first and force the issue. Her eventual lynch is slim chance at my own win but given my decision about which night actions to take, it's the chance I have.

I've got a really bad feeling about these 'assassins'...and I'm seeing why this thread is getting so full. No one seems to want to give direct answers...
fferyllt, just answer 1 and 2 please, and in the same post.
also, why do you want to help the town when doing so does not advance your win condition. Don't bs me with some sob story saying it was out of the goodness of your heart either. If your wincon does not involve helping the town, then helping the town is hindering you chances of winning and I have to wonder why someone would knowingly do something to lower their chances of winning.
Pedit...answering 1 and 2 might help me with understanding post 1007.
I win if Mollie dies. Mollie wins if I die. We both exit the game when that happens.
My actions are view and a combo track/watch. Both are one shots. I used the view on Mollie.
Mollie says her actions are view and backstab (a kill that will work on me, but not town. And that would kill her if she used it on scum). She used the view on me.

Does this mean there are possibly more than two assassins, just not the 4 mentioned...?
Also i can't find the quote atm from you but I
think
there is still a scum team. It doesn't make sense from a town perspective to have third parties eliminating each other and no scum team. Does it?

Unless we're all assassins, which we aren't.
I've reread my role pm a few times because I wondered about the possibility of more than two assassins. The role PM is pretty clear - there is one other assassin besides me. I think there is something - maybe an SK. maybe 2 scum (but that sounds overpowered given 2 non-town players). We're not a direct threat to town because the night kill action that was available to us doesn't harm town players.

Ffery is your track/watch action a double action, as in you track AND watch a player, or is it a choice of the two, or do you have the ability to do one and then the other?
If the former, I suggest using it on your strongest townread - track will confirm town, watch will catch any possible kill. If a choice of the two, I suggest track as it will be more beneficial in the early stages of the game, and if the latter, I would suggest track first, for aforementioned reasons.

Fferyl, why is mollie waiting a night and do you really think she's gonna follow through with that?
The whole thing sounds a bit strange, one of you having a nk makes it so much easier. I guess that's because you know each other on day one though.
She's waiting a night so I can track/watch someone and report the results.
I *think* she will follow through. If she doesn't nothing's really lost as far as town is concerned - the track/watch was a bonus on top of any night actions town already has.

Mollie already has her wincon set in regards to you, so it makes no sense other than pure selfishness for her to use backstab this nightphase. Given conversations I've had with her about 3p roles, I highly doubt she'd kill you tonight.
