How was that fishing?

He was just asking about a possible breadcrumb, because scum will use that later if they can and want to. Removing that possibility druing their play makes their claim less believable. I actually think that that is pro-town.
This response doesn't hold because there was no indication in Duzn's posts that he was doing anything but joking. Why would a post restriction only apply to his 2nd post? Monkey's justification for
pointing out a breadcrumb
rolefishing was bad, why are you doubling down on it?

So you agree that her awkwardness isn't alignment indicative, and that maybe we should stop bringing up Arc's meta and focus on her gameplay on a game by game basis? She's town because her arguments make sense and come from a town mindset, not because she isn't posting awkwardly.

I didn't even see any breadcrumb happening, but I don't see it as bad to point out a possible breadcrumb.

A slip is a slip except when it's not a slip.

I'm not going to call out every shit vote. I picked on Ravenpaw's specifically because she's having some thoughts that could be a little more refined.

So what's more likely: that he was actually rolefishing and his justification is bullshit, or that he was genuinely attempting to point out a breadcrumb that no one else saw?

And this whole argument is pretty absurd because breadcrumbs that are so obvious that they are immediately pointed out are not effective breadcrumbs. Anything Duzn was theoretically trying to gain from breadcrumbing went out the window the second Monkey asked him if he was softclaiming.

I do agree with the viewpoint though about the Skulduggery bandwagon though, it's a good way to weed out opportunistic scum. We could try some mousetraps manoeuvres to bait them out, and hopefully we'll hit scum if we do it correctly (unless it's town playing poorly)

We should start with Ravenpaw

Ravenpaw's recent vote on Nero Cain is actually even worse than the skulldog vote

You may as well point out the breadcrumb, why wouldn't you?

I agree, this should go to the Mafia Discussion forum for when to claim that there is a breadcrumb...

I still think that my vote on Skull is legitimate and I don't see what's wrong with it. Can someone enlighten me?

oh lol

I just derped around and accidentally clicked RavenPaw's ISO button, and she has vote/unvote FOUR TIMES. I think that alone is enough of a reason to vote for her.

Thinking about it, I think we do need more pressure on RavenPaw tbh. It comes across as a shitty way to scumhunt at best, and at worst, it's scum trying to manipulate. Although Nero's play hasn't come off as remarkably Town to me. Doesn't change my read on The Goat though, but I feel RATEDR has enlightened me to join his vote.

UNVOTE: The Goat
VOTE: RavenPaw

So...you've now vote/unvoted THREE TIMES. Is that enough for me to vote you? Why is four worse than three? How is this even close to an acceptable scumtell?

I'm pretty sure four is a bigger number than three. Want me to double-check?

It's a null tell that leans scum to me, it goes to show indecisiveness, which is more anti-town than scummy really.

"Four is more than three" is not a proper response to "Why is four worse than three?" The onus is on ferret (and you, presumably, if you are taking this opportunity to 2nd his bad reason) to explain how 4 votes in 5 pages = scum, but 3 votes in 5 pages = town. You need to prove why that additional vote is so egregious.
