He notes its effectiveness as a scum tactic, but instead of following onto that scum tactic, he merely observes that it's fucking stupid for any town to do it since it works so well as scum. As scum going for towncred here, it surprises me that he wouldn't attack one of the people pulling off the "shoot me" shit, but instead he merely leaves it as information, which has minimal advantage as scum.

There's a bit of an aggressive exchange between Minimal/Ineffective here which is interesting because Ineffective gets accused of "making [Minimal] look bad", where he sort of backs off a little bit in a "sorry, just aggressive" sort of way but never actually backs down. This rang pretty townie to me mostly because seeing Minimal's post as scum would be like seeing blood in the water for me, and Ineffective's response is that the player he's attacking might be a little overdefensive, so he backs the fuck down. That shows he's being careful about getting clean reads and I don't see that likely coming from scum either.
