I killed you N1 in Amnesiac because I was terrified as fuck but had no idea who you were and where you came from. Things make a lot more sense now.
Lol.

Also why does everyone think Mac is non-town, I just don't see it -_-
:]

I'll remember this post after the game. I hope you will too.
I can't read Mac yet. I've read through prior games and it didn't help a bit. I'm following buldermar's read on him. What makes you think Mac is not town?

raven and mollie getting the indy roles that were supposed to kill each other in a game called poetic justice deserves a shout out though

In post 288, Mac wrote:The DCL case isn't just "he fos'd before voting Minimal! though orc. He has jumped onto the two wagons so far which was pointed out in #229. What do you make of the vote on Minimal with no reference to them prior to that?

Not only that, but putting it at L-1 too. It's opening up an opportunity for someone else to hammer with possibly legit reasoning for finding Minimal scummy whilst he sits back and let's it happen without providing any input.

Still need to read some shit as well, would like an answer to this question though.
This post was made when DCL and Minimal wagons both had about two votes apiece. What it accomplishes is a bunch of fanning the flames for a DCL vote while not taking a strong position, which allows Mac to jump on the Minimal wagon later if he so pleases. Being willing to defend the DCL case but not put his money with his mouth is tells me something is up. I'll also note that this post is directed at Orc who he's buddying up to, meaning that as scum he has an interest in orc saying that the case isn't shit. That way, he wouldn't have to defend himself from orc if he decides to jump on the wagon.
In post 303, Mac wrote:Is Minimal still scum?
In post 309, Mac wrote:buldermar I can't tell either. I'm interested to see what you think makes him obvscum because I don't see it.

VOTE: Minimal.
Later makes the minimal hop (obv) while digging hard for better buldermar reasoning. He's shown himself to be an aggressive player, Mac doesn't want to step on his toes, needs something more solid in order to make that wagon viable for him. I don't think that Mac would care about the "oh, but you're calling him obvscum" bit as town because he SHOULD be looking for "is buldermar scum". Even the statement "I don't think buldermar is obvscum because your reasons aren't good enough" shows that Mac is looking for reasons he can latch onto; he doesn't actually care about alignment.
In post 356, Mac wrote:if this is TvT and she's happy to sit back and let it roll.
Strong scumtell that says that Mac is looking at arguments and reasons, not people. Bonus scumpoints for Mac describing ff doing exactly what he's been doing all game.
In post 516, Mac wrote:Am I scum for voting you? It wasn't ever opportunistic because a) the wagon was pretty dead due to orc pressuring buld and b) the buld wagon which I could've "opportunistically" jumped on when orc asked me too. Instead, I commented on the argument where necessary and got involved and tried to find scum from it.
The whole thing that Mac lacked in this bit is that he never really got involved. He let arguments fall where they might, stayed on Minimal the entire time for god knows why, and postured a bit to get momentum to move to ff but never really
pushed
for it.
In post 791, Mac wrote:I can't say I like your reactions to my vote but I can see it coming from a town pov as well as a scum pov so it's a null tell atm. And I don't think I repeat what people say at all; can you point out instances where this happens?
Minimal starts freaking out, becoming aggressive, Mac drops the vote. Not because the person he is voting is town, but because she's null. Bullshit.
In post 1028, Mac wrote:I don't like Minimal pushing me for voting her because I thought one half of the hydra was delibrately not posting, either.
Not going to quote them all, but Mac goes to a phase where he's sick and will catch up later, does nothing. Then when he gets better and stops using the excuse he starts weak posturing on a couple people.
In post 1144, Mac wrote:The thing I don't get about assassin's is just the way it turns out if one is killed the other wins... does that not mean we are stuck with them until end game? meaning we pretty much cannot win?

that might not make sense.
And finally, indy hunting. Ff was one of the mislynches that Mac thought he could grab, so when they are untouchables, he starts looking for inconsistencies in the story that might be able to save him and get one of him lynched.

why do you have to be in the scummy slot Nacho? I agree with your Mac observations. Not sure they rise to a lynch vote, but he's bothered me from the time he posted that I was the scummiest player in the game and ended it with a vote on Minimal.

We're pretty paranoid about each other, usually.
But I've also correctly identified you as town several times, especially on MS. It just so happens that you're never actually scum for some odd reason.
I get scum on MS a LOT. So maybe if we play more together, you'll show me that you can read me. But your latest record is not so good where mine is pretty good.
Can you point out the games in which I've not correctly read you? Honestly I think my record is pretty good both on MS and TR. This is purely out of interest, I don't think it has any relevance for this game specifically.

I'm in a scummy slot because all of those that are easy to read as town are active enough where they won't replace out.

You can't answer for DCL, but when he returned from V/LA he did zero scumhunting, and focused all his attention on the assassin mechanic. Point in his favor, he did seem to actually be probing how the 3rd parties could hurt town to a greater extent than other players did.

He would say "I don't think buldermar is scum", or "I have no idea what you're saying; buldermar seems town". But his focus on calling you not OBVscum allowed him to jump on the wagon and call you scum later if he so pleased.

OBVscum was because of the specific phrase orc used.

He's not giving off the scummy vibe I've seen elsewhere. HOWEVER I thought he was town at first in the amnesiac game and it took quite a while to shake that impression. In the end, I protected him, thinking that if he was town he should be a priority NK and if he wasn't the kill happening elsewhere would give me a solid reason to go after him the next day.

Then I died.

He's way more involved in this game in a matter of hours than he was in the amnesiac game day 1.
