Conventional wisdom is that MS town usually unvotes when a player makes an uncountered PR claim, and waits to see what happens overnight.

Why should we not follow conventional wisdom and look for the other scum today?

It was hawked as conventional wisdom in my first newbie game iirc.

a guy I used to play mafia with said that lynching PRs is like crack to scum.

OTOH I recently held a bandwagon together when a scum player fake-claimed in the 11th hour so I'm not exactly a purist.

A Town should want to be as certain as possible. They should want all possible evidence.
Random assertions do nothing to increase the amount of evidence in the game.

So not only did he not use the word keep more than he usually does - he used it more often in the other thread by about twice as much... Which makes up for the margin of error in a smaller games sample size by far

I don't really think it does make up for the sample size, but it's been a while since I took Stat. Regardless of that, this game has been moving pretty quickly at times. It's a bit difficult to crumb when you're trying to get thoughts out to keep up with everyone.

One can only read so many posts at a time. I fail to see your point, seeing as my point is that this game is abnormal in every sense of the word.

That is not the math I am talking about. I am referring to the "more than 50%", I couldn't quite catch what you were talking about.
