Nacho nailed it. I was blinder-vision on bungle being scum so I just wrote off what levi was doing as town by elimination. Basically, I didn't see bungle/levi.

And I think Nacho is town as aforementioned.

i'll allow that if nacho isn;t scum then there's a good chance that levi might be. but bleh.... if nacho isn;t scum then that means that one of my strong town reads must be.

this is scummy as hell to ask but idc. i think i'm too pissed off at pirate's play to judge her alignment correctly. i've had a strong town read on her all game but if i were to give 1 reason for her being scum it would be how ridiculously tunneled on me she was the whole time. so could someone else (probably chkflip because i think he's town and he wasn't around for the drama) read through her shit and tell me if it's possible that she is as terrible at town as she appears or if she's scum? one interaction that particulary stands out was when we were arguing about some quote from borno's profile. she was accusing me of lying about it when she could have easily checked borno's profile herself and seen that i wasn't. at the time i dismissed it as her trolling me because that's how much she hated me but it could have just been scum arguing for the sake of arguing.

First of all, nice post nacho. It actually shows effort for once in this game and does have loads of truth. I very much admit that. However, I have reasons for all those things you called me out on.

First how do you figure that i'm not comfortable now? I've been pretty comfortable regarding that my main disappointment is how slow this game is going and that its literally like no one has time for it so how should I care so much when it seems like no one else is. As you stated yourself my contribution came EARLY where I was on topic and posting relevant stuff.

Second of all, look at every game I have ever been in. You will see that I give reads out randomly in huge lists telling where I am on people. usually periodically throughout the game, until people start pointing fingers at me for doing it and saying its pretty scummy and I usually stop. I stopped that early in this game because I didn't care as much.

Third. I do agree with you that my scum reads are kind of lacking in this game. More so the reason is I'm really not seeing scum in this game. I see TOTALLY OBVIOUS TOWN. specifically bungle and gene. which bumps it down to 4 possible scum for me. thats pretty good odds in my book because 50 percent of you are scum. Its literally like I could hang any one of you rest out to dry and feel pretty confident that the two scum are between y'all. david, nacho, chkflip, blaze. which ones look the scummiest? to me its hard to tell and its almost a random shoot for me.

lynching lurkers has worked for me in the past because they are either scum and anti-town or both which DEFINITELY works for me! currently blaze is up on that list now.

FOurth. I do lack spine in this game, because I really haven't found it yet.

You're very unsure, but you haven't been doing much hunting/questioning in order to develop those reads much.

this is gonna be (relatively) short and to the point with no attention paid to spelling or grammar because right now i don't really care too much about this game. i need muh lynches! and posts! none of which are happening!

all in all i've always felt that nacho's posts are indicative of him feeling detached from or uninterested in the game. there have been some explicatives here and there and some posts where it looks like he's trying to intimidate people into not lynching him but even those I find quite passive.

2. interest in scumhunting

i don't think nacho is engaged in the scumhunt at a townie level especially considering that i believe him to be a good player. his d1 endless questions were often intriguing/insightful but more often than not i felt like they weren't going anywhere productive. when he engages in conversation it never really feels like a conversation between 1 human being and another.... more like 1 human being and a machine pre-programmed to spit out reasonable responses.

3. the switch from david to levi

this made no sense to me. i want to hear more of an explanation for it than "i began to read david as town." right now i'm very ambivalent about daivd but if i had to guess now i'd say he's town. even with that, i still think that nacho's case against david is more convincing than his case against levi. the levi stuff was all meta and imo nacho was cherry picking posts to paint levi in a certain light. i remember arguing with levi wayyyyy back earlier in the game and my memory of it was that levi was actually quite forceful in some of his responses. so i want to hear more from nacho about the specific train of thought he had that led him to changing his david read and growing more sure about his levi scumread.

4. this recent suspicion of thrawn

premise #1: i think, from reading nacho's posts and regardless of his alignment, that he is a good player with a good understanding of how to read people. so i have no idea why he's spending his time questioning me out of everyone else. it's not that i'm saying i'm obvious town (although i'd probably say that if you asked) it's that i'm saying i should be obvious town to a town nacho.

that is the short version. i'd write a long version but honestly right now i'm undecided about who i want to lynch and i had to summon all my willpower just to post that much

I started off the game as a bit passive because I've been busy, but I'm up to my normal level of attachment now. I haven't been that aggressive this game, but that doesn't mean I'm scum. I'm not always aggressive, and I'm probably only very rarely as aggressive as the people you're used to playing with.

Meanwhile, I have been scumhunting. I have been pushing. I have been questioning. If you don't see where my questions are leading, we don't push on the same thing. That doesn't mean anything as far as my alignment is concerned.

Yes, it's mostly meta and feels, but your case on me is 90% feeling, so I don't really see why you have a problem with that. Levi was my second strongest scumread, David began dropping down in my scumreads and levi offered to hop on the wagon, time to go for levi. There's not anymore to it than that.

I'm questioning you because levi is my scumread and everyone else seems town. You are probably the most likely to fool me at this point in time, and your play today is lacking. You have one scumread that gets no more reasoning than "he's detached, he posts like a robot" and not really looking anywhere else.

eh there's nowhere else to look that will actually provide anything worthwhile. i just dont feel like anyone gives a shit. people make like 1 defensive post then bugger off till the next time you call them out. and thanks to people lacking spine and wanting to take 21 days to lynch, pressure voting is effectively useless so don't really know what to do

in other words i'm extremely demoralized.

here's where i'm at right now:

i did go back and read pirate's filter and i came away from it thinking that she was town. one down. gene is town. 2 down. so that leaves me with david/levi/chkflip/yourself

the problem is that if I go "okay, what if nacho is town" then i'm left with having to pick 2 scum out of david/levi/flip and i really don't see that as possible. so that means that either A) i;m right about nacho being scum or B) there are two scum in that levi/david/flip group OR my assumption about pirate was wrong. and that's the point at which my lack of care for the game overrides my motivation to figure things out.

i think the best possible thing that can happen right now is for blaze to be replaced
