Would anyone be interested in a Mafiascum LoL tournament for fun? I'd envision where people sign up and /in as any number of roles, then teams are randomly assigned using that list. Might be fun!

Obviously I'd be in, but it sounds like a terrible idea for a community who can't even In-house together to all put their name into a hat, get drawn into a team randomly only to find out the team that gets the most of the 9ish gold-very nearly gold players and the least of the of 8 terrible bronze players is just gonna dominate. Lets say Fate and Hindu get randomly drawn on a team with no bronzes. What random team from the rest of the pool beats that?

I've been in housing pretty okay with other people?
I think we would come up with some kind of system by which a matchmaking system would take into account preferred role AND skill level

Everytime I've been in an in-house, one team always gets stomped out and everyone is butthurt afterward. And it's mostly problems between relatively nice people, which is the weird part. I specifically remember Scotmany and Andrius yelling at each other.

I'd be in, but I feel like you'd either need to do one of:
a) make it a 1v1 tourney
b) Make it semi random, in the sense that skill levels are fairly balanced.
Otherwise you'd get a team that might get completely stomped. And getting stomped isn't fun.

Actually, I'd almost think that a 1v1 tourney for seedings might be the best way to determine skill level for teams?
Edit: because then it isn't subjective in any way or anything?
