Wasn't aware of the Matt meta. IF Matt has been known to do this as scum... does he actually make a good lynch target? Because assuming town tells the truth, at the very worst we're lynching a Vanilla Townie, right?

I know that gambit-as-town is a possibility, but he wouldn't let himself get lynched without claiming his real role as town. Further, he wouldn't do a risky gambit if he felt he had an important power role. So the possibilities are still: Lynching something unimportant or scum.

no. Way to lazy. I'll link tou to one of the games we played in together. Matt kept fake claiming as a gambit and some of use suspected him and someone said (maybe even Matt himself?) that he did it as both.

ehhhh....I'd let him be for a few days but if we aren't hitting scum he might be a decent candidate to get rid of before lylo.

So, Matt is a lynch candidate, but not right now, you figure? I noticed your vote is on Selkies, but I also noticed it was a bit of an RVS vote. Selkies is a better lynch than Matt you think?

:facepalm:

I'll always be wary of Matt. Him lying/gambiting/reaction fishing is null but I'd strongly consider his lynch in a few days if we seem to not be hitting on scum. My vote is on Selk and yea it was RVS. I wouldn't consider a Selk lynch at all. I haven't found anything to yell at yet hence why I'm sitting on my RVS.

Considering that you have no better options right now, why aren't you considering Matt right now? After all, you seem to be amenable to the idea of lynching him. And see also my reasons in post #75.

Hi everyone

Matt's VT claim is fine, not sure if I like how he chose to follow it up, or ghostlin's answer to his question, though none of this alignment indicative yet.

Selkies is looking town to me so far.

I don't feel like voting yet

Why is milkshake trying to bait me into lynching Matt?

I'll never "trust" you but I also don't really think you scum so I doesn't see why my agreeing with you is a bad thing.

Short of another claim, we cannot assume he's telling the truth or lying. This is really the worst thing ever--there are a number of reasons for him to lie, and seems like a soft-push in Matt's direction void of any conviction. (For example, no vote is placed.)

Mostly just trying to get Nero Cain's opinion. But I do also see a certain logic behind moving toward a MattP lynch. I was trying to determine whether or not Nero Cain agreed with my logic. (Apparently not, hah!)

So despite the fact that I did not want to lynch Matt today you kept on badgering me about Matt when it was obviously clear that I did not agree with your logic.

@Selkies

A lot of my scum read on you was predicated on you not being in RVS... so either I'm missing something big here or you were just being cryptic. Why am I town? What part of my 43 did you find town..? And who's scum, ty.

@Thad

Why is Ghost town?

@Ghost

Your 74 - so you have a town read on Matt now?

@Niccage

Why did you feel the need to make post 82.

So I also had a look through Selkies only completed game as town (ferrlyt also handled RVS in that) and she was basically way more assertive and brash in that. I don't see any similarities other than her dislike of RVS which is present in apparently every game.

I (fferyllt) don't do RVS at least as it's defined at MS. orcinus does, and he was still doing it at the time he voted you, though we we were already discussing player reactions.

orcinus thought your reactions to his vote and to Matt's VT claim looked townish. I agreed. Your reply to my "wake me when RVS is over" joke gave me an opportunity to say what I was thinking, so it wasn't so much your post 43's content. It was just a good place to directly interact with you in the game (though you've been interacting plenty with orcinus).

As far as scum go, I'm not liking Nero Cain too much for town. And milkshake's entrance was a little unsettling as well.

When orcinus is around we'll discuss what to do next with our vote because our next vote will be probably be all serioous and stuff.

Yep, RVS is always me. Fery always signs her posts with -f, and I think i'll sign my own posts in this game too since nobody here really has enough meta to tell us apart.

My RVS play is focused on getting reactions and getting reads on people, throwing my vote around *strategically* helps me do that.

This, however, is a scum vote.

I've had a town read declared at least since 66--and while I don't like them, performing reaction tests are generally town. Why I don't like reaction tests are not due to the alignment. Town players have a history of using reaction tests to drive mis-lynches, but they're generally well-intentioned, if not as accurate as randomly choosing one for the day.

So knowing full well that Matt is capable of doing gambits/reaction tests as either alignment, you're still townreading him?
