1, Because i seriously thought he was scum and you came to his defense, but after reading him better i decided he probably was a newbie town then you were probably buddying him IF you are scum that is.
2. By PoE (aside from my null reads) it could be either you and him or you, I was thinking that if we lynch him and he flips scum you would be scum, and if he flipped town you would be scum, so i decided that by that logic you had higher chance of being scum than him, and would rather push my vote in that direction than risking a mislynch, didn't have much strong reasoning for it, but as i mentioned by PoE you both are my only scum reads.

It's a tactic some well-coordinated scum use. It only works if the living scum is considered town. So for me to do it would make no sense seeing as how I'm most likely going to be first or second lynch.

There is a technique called "bussing," in which a scum member may vote and want another scum member lynched for town cred.

I don't think PhD is the type to bus, though, so it's highly unlikely that is the case.

Like I said earlier, the only unsettling thing is that someone as newbish as PhDScar has been acting, is that he suddenly has enough confidence to say Sakura is "no doubt scum."

Now PhD is looking neutral. His posts have been natural, and I could easily see him being town. slight FoS on Sakura, she has said some things that may be coming from a scum point of view, but not certain by any means. I'm not sure what to do now, I don't have any major reads and from my past experience here that is regarded as a scumtell...

@PhD: Well i'm not one for saying my reasons straight away unless i'm making a case, mostly so i know who can see what i'm seeing, and so the one i'm going against doesn't change their attitude to solve the issue and appear more town to me.
