Not sure if it applies in LoL, but in certain draft scenarios, 12344321etc is undesirable because it allows double picks to yield strong, synergistic combinations. Not sure if there'd be two players who are strong on specific champs who synergize like that but just a thought.

I suppose so...if you consider the "#1 captain" the "best player" from the 1v1 tourney, then they get themselves + 1st free agent in exchange for taking the last pick. That's fair.

because figuring out the most efficient/fairest way to do something seems to be a worthwhile endeavor to make sure this "not srsbiz" thing is fun and fair for all? maybe?

If team balance/fairness was the goal, the 1v1 tournament / draft should never have happened, and teams should have just been made based on a combination of role preference and LK score, with the non-rnaked players being used to fill in the gaps.

Sent a PM to Ray before I read this, but I'll fill you guys in on what's going on. I can play games from 0100-1100 Ray's time. I will be busy for the majority of that tomorrow, and only free during the later hours where Ray's in school, (~0900 onwards) if I manage to be free at all. The soonest our match could happen would be midday Thursday, (from a NA PoV) assuming he could be free then. That's actually like Friday morning for him because of dateline shenanigans, right?

Edit: That said, there's a chance I'll be working all day tomorrow and won't be able to play until Thursday afternoon anyway. It is more likely than not that I'll be free tomorrow night, though.

And then team drafting for a 5v5 tournament.

I hope tbg loses his game, none of the top 4 seeds will be captain!

Well, I can probably stay up until 3 am a few nights to catch TBG / games. If ranked is any indication, I can do well until around 2:30 and then I go full retard.

If this is too much of a problem to do, then I can definitely like do a game on Saturday / Sunday but mornings in the sense of after-I-wake-up mornings are a no go (staying up late mornings are possible with a lil advance warning - I don't wanna stay up until 3 five days in a row ~.~).

If this is still no good, then yeah replace me with brandi makes the most sense (esp since brandi mains teh support just like me)

the point hes trying to make is that MS for some reason breeds support players over players at other roles

i can empathize with the idea that internet reviewers suck (yelp is a fucking awful site built on extortion and sometimes the customers can be as delusional as the people running the show) and realize that for the most part in the business you need a bit of an ego to get by (you need to be near-100% confident that what you're doing is right in order to operate effectively during service, and pride comes with that naturally over time - my strongest point and my weakest point as a cook are that i really know how flavors work together and that because my advice gets sought so often i feel a sense of superiority over a lot of the people i work with), but those people are
