I do? I've put down a ton of reads since the game started. As of last night there are a few people who haven't participated enough for me to have a read yet. And a couple reads are pretty soft based on a handful posts.

I'm not going to srsvote again without catching up with buldermar.

re varsoon, compared to the borkgame he seems a lot more way out there. he tunnele us/selkies pretty hard on day 1 of that game. His "case" (hesitate to use the term) on you is bizarre, but reading through it, I don't think he's taking himself seriously so I'm not sure what the point is.

@BRO: And a good scum player would deliberately play against/manipulate and be aware of his own meta. Meta allows weak players to stay weak, and strong players to manipulate them. It's not a very good approach. There's nothing I can do to stop you from using meta evidence in a case for or against me. I, however, won't rely on it as the foundation for any of my cases.

You don't seem to understand how incredibly difficult this is, especially with people who've you played with enough. It's not so much about appearing "scum" as much as it is appearing "not town" to people who are very, very familiar with how you tend to play. Even if you change styles fairly radically between games, there is still probably a thread of something that exists between all of your games that those who know you best can pick up on and call out when it isn't there.

The people who are townreading me hard right now (namely, GIF and Nacho) have been in games with me before, and understand what my town game is like. They've probably lurked my other games, but I don't wanna flatter myself too much.

I mean, normally what goes on through your head is really transparent and that's why I always ask you to post in select games for Selkies to gain towncred, because I feel like you're good at doing that. I just haven't been getting the same vibe this game. Through a skim of your posts in 2 in isolation, I see that all of your posts before buld's catchup were mostly one-word, mostly unjustified reads. No real scumhunting, the silly posts remind me a bit of that popcorn game that I stalked, no interaction with null reads, etc.

Right now, I can't see the scum motivation in going after orcinus. IMO it was doomed to fall on deaf ears and IMO varsoom knows that. So, I think it was mostly about getting reactions (not just from orcinus).

Also not a fan of TD for reasons that have been stated already, but also kind of iffy on AJ for tunneling TD so hard. Both are scummy, but they probs aren't scum together. AJ, do you have thoughts about the rest of what has been going on?

Nacho is the town-Venmar this game.
Orcinus is running in fucking circles at the moment. Varsoon is running in ovals. Varsoon was way too quick to back off his case for Orc, but even stranger is that Orc didn't hammer on Varsoon for completely disregarding orc after about 4 posts (even though he went through all that trouble for an incredibly long wall). Even worse, Orc backs off his own vote.

To be honest, I've learned from past that orc can have his say, but don't give him too much weight. It can result in catastrophe. So even considering him a 'town leader' (What, by posts? Definitely not by flips...) is presumptuous, Varsoon.

Mac is his general passive self, but that's not going to help this day.

Sven can easily be any allignment he wants to be. Give me the guilty results I want as a tracker and I'll consider your claim legitimate... Maybe. A miller doesn't usually have a secondary role. It sounds like a bail out of a wagon.
