Spent the afternoon playing ranked 5s with a challenger, 2 plats, myself, and the king for anyone who knows him (we are both silver).
Every single team we went against had at least 3 plats and most had a diamond or two. Didn't see anyone ranked under gold, but there were some unranked. I topped 4 games and mid 1, won every lane but my Malphite v Zac top who absolutely destroyed me: double my cs and killed me twice under my tower. Awful experience 100% do not want ever again. I rushed a chalice into merc treads and an abyssal and he just kept shitting on me and then us.

The highlight of my league career so far was absolutely monkeyfucking a diamond tryndamere with teemo, to the tune of a 4-0 lane.
The dude who was making the calls was basically just like win your lane if you can, don't feed if you can't and go to the objectives when I tell you. He's kind of trolly, played Heimer in one game and tank/initiator Talon in another. Little bit frustrating since I think we would have only actually lost the Zac game if everyone was paying attention, but they were all smoked out and didn't care, so we finished 3-2 which is good enough for Silver 5. Anti-climactic end to my story, sorry.
