I don't like using meta against people.

I feel like Cabd's votes go against how aggressively he calls people out in his posts. In other news, he seems really reserved about who he thinks is scum/town and most of his scum/town reads AND votes feel like they're largely made in reaction to how other players feel about the slots. It doesn't feel like genuine town-play to me, but I could be wrong on this.

I think what stands out the most is the voting patterns and the engagement with the game so far. /shrug


@GIF: Okay, that makes sense, although I'm reading their back and forth as the same sort of thing that happens between me and other town I disagree with. I suppose I've gotten in spats with outspoken townies too much in my game history so far.

Chances are, there are scum on the wagon regardless of its alignment.
Looking at those names, however, makes me wonder where they are.
I mean, its entirely possible its a completely town wagon as there isn't enough steam to get CHOOCHOO ITS GONNA HAPPEN so scum aren't sure if they need to bus yet but.
I am confident most of those are town. Scum are in the latter half of the voters.

Supporting this, Orc is a headache to play with. That's why I like to piss him off. Look at our interaction in this game and you'll see how that's played out.

That said, this is why I think meta is terrible. If someone has a horrible town-game, they shouldn't be allowed to get away with it every game because that's just how they've played. They should be lynched for that shit, so behaviors that are so clearly anti-town are stamped out of the general play-approach that people take.

But policy lynching is bad, etc etc.

As of now, AJ seems scum to me based on his misrepresentation of players and game-state. Also, he's pretty detached from the game, especially in his earlier posts, where his contributions were essentially "TD is scum, guys why aren't we voting him?"

Focus on TD and ignoring the issue of millertracker is also town.

Don't see scum_AJ arguing with towngod_Nacho regarding a TD lynch this early on.

AJ's posting is strong and consistent.

AJ does no sheeping, all original work, and isn't afraid of shit.

Spoiler: A Note on the Miller-Tracker Claim

One way to tone down town power, as a mod, is to give it negative utility. Millers mean more people investigate as scum; more townies are under threat of getting lynched. Good modding. Now, putting the Miller

modifier

on a Tracker

ability

means that bork is putting more thought into this in the sense that since, as we've stated, usually Millers are vigbait, attaching the Miller modifier to a Tracker will make town second-guess shooting him solely because of the miller claim.

However, on the flipside, this makes a good scumfakeclaim and while I believe that a Miller claim would have been sufficient, the same holds true as a scum fakeclaim/actual role; it will make any vig second-guess their shot.

And while Tyrea isn't exactly my first choice for Tracker, it makes good sense from a mod POV.

AJ's 'consistency' is across the span of several-hundred posts, and can be instead read as stubbornness.

Ignoring the miller issue could easily be a scum-approach to not make a slip around something so loaded like that early miller claim.

You may have seen how I feel how his 'catchup' post isn't town at all.

Regardless, I don't think he has much control of the game, so his capacity to influence, as scum, isn't something I'm that worried about.
