One of the primary reasons is that Monkey was your RVS vote and in the course of two posts, segued into a legitimate vote on Monkey for rolefishing. The next 38 posts were continued attacks on Monkey or anyone who said he might be town or on Nero for voting you or others for arguing with you. There appears to be a lack of actual scumhunting, and instead there exists a tunneling on a single player, and most other posts are arguing with other players about that player.

The bolded is something that you (incorrectly) accused ferretlover of doing, not Monkey. In my experience, townies don't usually forget what scum tells were exhibited by which scum read, especially when they've been tunneling said scum read for the entire game.

Some of the middle of that list is pretty weak reads, but the top six town reads I'm pretty sure on. And I'd lynch anywhere in the top six scum reads right now.

I'm not getting this push on ArcAngel9. Her reactions don't seem in line with her scum play and seem way more like her reactions as town. Nero Cain, what's your take there? P-edit: you obviously have her as town as well. I assume you'd agree with the first part of this paragraph, then?

I've only seen Arctown once; I get the blatant OMGUS and the lack of thread presence, but I don't get the personal insults and tunneling. Can you recommend some Arctown games that track with her behavior here? Or maybe some of her scum games, if that's what you feel more strongly in saying.

I understand what you are getting at, but I'm not advocating that we policy lynch arc. She is doing legitimately scummy things like having a scumread on a player who isn't in this game, or saying that Monkey is scum for doing X when it was actually ferret that did X, or leaving Monkey off of her lynch list even though she was, and is still currently, voting him. She isn't invested in her reads because she can't be because she's scum.

Fun fact: I consider it infinitely more likely that those who try to discredit me based off of a past game to flip scum. Especially when they say that I'm scummy, yet are treating me as if I'm town who is wrong--and they feel the need to show that I'm wrong.

It's a fine instance of minor cognitive dissonance combined with whatever fallacy it is that "wrong in the past equals wrong now". 'Specially since the research isn't solid from pidgey. My first scumreads in that game were Yates (scum) and mykonian (also scum). I had a third who was town (Kise), but I instantly locked onto the scumminess of Yates and mykonian.
