Not sure honestly, could be an intentional and thus fake townslip, I'm not sure. Bears some thought. I'll check it out some more.
.... I am confident I knew what I was talking about when I said zed would be scum.... however I don't remember what it was now and I can't find zed on the player list X_x. Who is zed?Chaos, Panic, Disorder, my work here is done.

All right let's re-cap the oh-so-scummy wagon that's building on me.
-Metal Sonic goes "I wonder what the scum flavour is"
-Zoidberg speculates idly
-Roflcopter comes out of nowhere pushing a zoidberg lynch
-Roflcopter repeatedly dodges questions related to his reasoning from multiple players
To wit:In post 126, Zoidberg wrote:
Total speculation, but it's probably Rosalyn, Susie Derkins, Moe, Miss Wormwood, and some others. Maybe Calvin's Mom's "evil" alter-ego aka the Evil Mom-Lady.In post 114, Metal Sonic wrote:there is no scum in this game, only calvin
boy i wonder what the scum role flavor is? those zog? that old teacher whose name I forgot? exciting !
Not that the rolenames matter unless we have a role-cop.
The question is: Why? He's not stated any case, and there must be a reason.
Answer: Well, I must have correctly guessed one or more of the scum's role names. He probably thinks he can spin it as "Zoidberg knows too much about the setup" aka I must have inside knowledge because I'm scum and so I've scumslipped. Of course, he can't prove that without revealing that he also has inside knowledge.
Here's the thing, though:That list of roles would occur pretty obviously to anyone who's even remotely familiar with the source material.Who are Calvin's primary antagonists in any of the comics? Rosalyn the babysitter who makes him go to bed. Moe the bully who steals his truck. Susie Derkins always tattling on him and giving him cooties. Evil Mom-Lady making him eat his vegetables and whatever. It's the most obvious way for the setup to go.
But roflcopter, being scum, already knows what the scum rolenames are and so he can't put himself in town's point of view. I.e. he can't see the clear line of thought that town would have when guessing what scum rolenames are.

I don't care for either wagon, namely because of a few sketchy characters riding on the back-end of them (Eddie, Broseiden, NS, and desperado come to mind)
What is up with this TIP white-knighting from Desperado?
That combined with the Zoidberg turnaround and I think this is worth pursuing.

Well, there's post 232, where you say, "TIP has the right read here. Town doesn't need to take the time to tell you that they will say what they want, when the want, to whom they want...they just do it." Bolded mine. Then, in post 266, you say "WTF is this shit? There was nothing wrong withwhat TIP said and it was perfectly cogent." Again, bolded mine.
These are the entire posts, and I emphasized the bolded parts because you're not actually trying to magnify a point made by TIP, you're just trying to "buddy" him (for lack of a better term). Trying to prop TIP up like this would be kind of bizarre coming from town, in my opinion.
And for all these "cogent points" TIP is apparently making, you're not even following any of it. No vote for Varsoon or TD.- Desperado

Why would it be bizarre?
Zoidberg was asking deliberately obtuse questions that he already knew the answer to, and Tiphaine chose to discredit TIP over engaging him. You would expect townies to just let these things go?
And for all of quote mining you're apparently doing, you aren't even reading any of it. I did vote for Varsoon (in fact, I voted him before everything you're referencing here), and cogent arguments =/= persuasive arguments.- Desperado

Here are several other explanations for roflcopter than 303:
- Roflcopter is active lurking scum
- Roflcopter has the same attitude about D1 as NS
- Roflcopter thinks it's cool to have other people build cases for him on the people he thinks is scum
- Roflcopter is just some troll
- Roflcopter is some kind of asshole
- Roflcopter is behaving in a way we will never understand until he feels motivated to explain it to us
So I think 303 is just hyperspeculative. I don't have anything against votes based on speculation, but it presents an big opportunity cost compared to, say, voting for more assuredly scummy behaviors.as gregor samsa awoke one morning from uneasy dreams he found himself transformed in his bed- Desperado

And 303 is a stretch.
It falls apart completely if Rofl isn't voting you for your flavor speculation.
And I can't see the line of thought that town would have when guessing scum rolenames at all. You've admitted that it's even more useless than normal speculation unless we have a role cop, so why (as town) would you even concern yourself with it?
The fact that you have multiple posts speculating on the flavor AND multiple posts pointing out how said speculation is both useless and patently obvious to anyone familiar with the theme is the main reason I'm voting you right now.- Zoidberg

Yep, it does fall apart in that instance. But in the absence of an actual case from rofl I'm forced to come up with something. And 303 is a stretch.

My first post on the subject was dismissing it as useless, yes. But given the timing of roflcopter's vote, what other reasoning could he possibly have? And I can't see the line of thought that town would have when guessing scum rolenames at all. Mmkay, makes sense. And now that I think about it, I'm being hypocritical since I'm basically doing the same thing by moving my vote from Pope to you. So...In post 301, Desperado wrote:

I've been waiting for roflcopter to go into more detail about why he has a murderboner for Zoidberg too. His ISO is laughable. Every single post is some flavor of "Hey guys, let's lynch Zoidberg. Just because." I don't like it.

Roflcopter, I do hope you'll be able to muster the energy to explain your case on Zoidberg sometime soon. I'm just dying to hear it. I mean, if you're Town who is trying to lynch Scum, don't you think it would be beneficial to share your reasoning with your fellow Townies so we can see where you're coming from?
