*
This color
is reserved for the Mod. Do not use it in your posts.
* Do NOT quote or discuss any private communications with the Mod.
* I reserve the right to add or modify rules over the course of the game as needed.
VOTING/LYNCHING
* It takes 50% + 1 to lynch.
* All votes must be in bold or use the voting tag.
* A vote is required to be on its own separate line in order to be counted. No exceptions. This doesn't count--> VOTE: Mod VOTE: Mod
^This does.
* Unvotes are not required.
* You may vote for someone using a nickname so long as I can reasonably tell who you are trying to vote for.
* You may vote to No Lynch. Unlike the boilerplate rules, this game will adhere to the 50%+1 rule for no lynches.
* Once enough votes for a lynch or no lynch have been achieved, no further votes or unvotes will be counted.
* If you are lynched, you may continue to talk in thread until the thread is locked (the "twilight" period).
* Dead players may make one brief "bah" post the following day, so long as no substantive game information is mentioned.
* If you notice any errors in the vote count, please let me know in thread.
DEADLINES/ACTIVITY
* Each game day will last
two weeks
.
* Each game night will last
48 hours
.
* Actions may be submitted to me either via PM or Quicktopic.
* You may submit your night actions in advance.
* You may change your night action as many times as you want up until deadline.
* If you do not submit a night action, the action is forfeited.
* If you will be V/LA please notify me in the thread in bold font. If the V/LA is for too long a period, I reserve the right to replace.
* Prods will be issued to players who are not V/LA and do not post within a 48-hour period. If you are prodded, you have 48 hours from the prod to post in game or you will be replaced. If you are prodded three times or more, you may be replaced. For purposes of a prod, Saturday and Sunday will be considered 24 hours.
Have fun!

* Everyone needs to PM me one last time with their desired role out of the following list of pairs.
* Given the weekend, I will extend the deadline to PM me with your choice to Monday. Please submit your choice within the next (expired on 2013-06-24 18:00:00).
* If I receive everyone's selection early, I will open the game early.
* Any alignment can choose any role. No restrictions.
* If you choose a role from a grouping that someone higher on the draft order has already picked from, your selection will fail and you will remain your current role (Vanilla Townie/Mafia Goon)
* Once I receive PMs from everyone, I will issue you a new PM with your final role for this game.
Below are the list of available roles. Note that you must specify which specific role you want (for example, PM me that you want to be Tracker, not just that you want to select the Jailkeeper or Tracker slot.)

Then I thought, "You know, it's probably the 1's."
I checked previous PyP games, and in all the open games scum picked 1... hmm.
VERY probably 1 scum in cade/ytwc
VOTE: your troubles will cease
Unless you think there's a reason scum are more likely to pick 1's, this is essentially a lottery fallacy which could have been applied if the scum had all picked high numbers, even numbers, etc.

Scum in 486 wrote:I think it's worth one of us going for 1 because I'm sure if we don't someone else will and if they don't then we'll have first pick. Then perhaps 4-10 and 10-15. If safety is correct then perhaps even numbers are the way to go.
Scum in 472 wrote:Guys I'm picking 1
someone pick 2
and someone 3
People will get scared of picking these low numbers.
I'm only scared this might obv point to us...
Scum in 374 wrote:I think we should avoid picking numbers 2-4. I feel like people are not going to want to pick number 1 thinking that other people might and go for those numbers. I think we should also avoid picking 7.
OtherScum in 374 wrote:Im taking #1, which was my plan if I was town. If I get it, im taking vig, which even though I hate it, its what I alluded to before, taking it means that no one else will get it. As town I would just grab it and then never shoot. If I dont get it im taking a scrub role. Even now im not going to shoot if I get it for a long period of time, probably until an endgame.
