You both may well be scum, but I'm not for a second buying "oh I don't remember why I said he was frustrated" because it's scummy.
It's scummy because when town players say things, they usually have conviction/reasoning behind what they say. But when scum players post, many times they fill their post with hot air or force reads that they don't actually believe (because they already know who is scum and who isn't) and those "forced reads" are accompanied by flowery adjectives that are empty and vapid.

Please to be coming up with a better reason for scum than this. This is one of those wiki tells that gets under my skin every time someone uses it and makes me immediatley suspect them. It really is no better than random that this works. In post 85, Venmar wrote: There's something about holding the 3rd spot on the wagon that shows remarkable results for being a scum spot..- Venmar

Explaining oneself well makes them town? If that were the case scum would never win gamesIn post 131, KillerApple wrote:

Not really getting the broseidon hate. The post was clunky, but The "woohoo weak day one reads" read genuine .
Nacho feels off, but I'm always suspicious of him early on and can almost never get a proper read on him. Leaving my vote there cuz nacho and my flights about o start boarding. I also need to review some things that ont involve scattershot spam reads with a speed read through.
Nacho - if you wanted o test out omething on generic, why did you only appeal to mollie for it?
Speaking of mollie - pretty sure the hair braiding buddy domain is mine. Ont try to give it to someone else.
There was something else but the idea of hair braiding got me giddy and now I can't remember.
Oh venmar - I do like your explanation better. The reason why that tell bugs me is because it gives people a place to suspect people without looking for their motivations. You did talk about amrun more than just that tell, which I did like.- Amrun

It had to do with the context and the stage in the game. Page 2 and page 50 are different beasts.

The additional case reckoner has begun to poke apple with is even more concerning. I'm not encouraged by apples responses to what seem decent points. And post 150 is a hand waving away of it without looking like he is reacting in a negative way to a momentum gaining wagon.

You seem to be attempting to hold a measure of control under pressure but you aren't effectively answering the points raised against you, it's vague and dismissive.- Nachomamma8

The reason it makes me want to lynch you is because as I said the last time you applied symbolic logic to a player's informal English, it's irrelevant to what the person is trying to say. And you were all yeah no it still applies.
You were scum in that game, so now I want to lynch you. And you know what else? Nacho dropped his tell!

Lol I have no control. I will most likely be lynched. The points raised against me are pretty stupid considering I would never be so careless as scum. But I might as well shut my mouth because this post will also be used against me in some way.In post 168, Generic wrote:The additional case reckoner has begun to poke apple with is even more concerning. My head hurts from reading. And fuck Billy Idol!
Apple's wagon looks juicy...mmh, apple juice...where was I? Oh, right, I mean, the rap sheet's there: evasion, deflection, contradiction, fencesitting, bullshitting in general. The whole nine yards and then some. But I still sense a tingly feeling, or maybe a foul stench of a lynch for dumbassery incoming and I'm not sure if it's scum dumbassery or town dumbassery yet.
Nacho, on the other hand, is being more concerned with disproving mollie's alleged scum tell on him and he's riding the counter wagon. And I don't like like half of his town list. And I like mollie. So...
Torn. I'll get back to those later. We got time.
