vote: reck

I want a claim from this disinterested, disconnected side of reck. Shouldn't be too much of a bother.

At this point I'm convinced that if Cabd is scum, we should be killing reck and macmollie. Absolutely locked in on this grouping. reck starts out ok, but as the wagon grows he attacks with very weak pile-on suspicion, reeks of bus. macmollie trying to defuse the lynch in like 4 different ways.

reck or cabd imo. macmollie is less likely in a vacuum, i suppose, though the hydra has the dubious honor of discussing the number of scum groups way early.

okay, laying out some thoughts and questions here.

I don't know what to make of the tierce/amrun fight I mean usually I am the one who is smack in the middle of tard fights I mean whoa. it reminds me little bit fery and I except our spats usually descend into her calling me retarded and me calling her a cunt and then we just tell each other to fuck off lol. I have learned over the years that the fight itself is a null tell for both of us since we have both done it as both alignments. surprised that amrun is being so thin-skinned about it though.

@ tierce

I don't like your dismissal of nacho saying you were scum stalling by calling it trolling. nacho is a massive troll but he does not troll the game by calling people scum if he doesn't think they are cos it muddies the waters. he knows I will go back and take his reads into consideration so yeah I think you are full of shit, I think he was beginning to become unsure about you. and I am gonna take a stab that you don't know what I mean by scum theatre, it is when someone is scumming it up for affect and it can be done by one scum or scum can do it with each other.

@ reck

I have been wanting to play with you for like ever and I feel a little let down cos you aren't playing. I don't want you to sub out and I don't want you lynched due to inactivity either if you are town so pretty plz with sugar on top try to get your head in the game.

@ cdb

you are my strongest town read and I want to work with you. there is something that nacho and I do that I want to try with you if you are townreading me. it is called triangulation and it is where 2 people who town read each other pull a third person into a convo, they both interact with them a good bit and then compare notes and come up with a joint read. it is kind of similar to what you do with a hydra except that the convo takes place in the game thread and you do not for sure know the other person's alignment. plus you get 2 votes. does this sound like something you might be interested in? cos I would really like to try it.

I think you are off base about amrun. putting pressure on an inactive player is a town move cos it pulls people into the game when as scum you
want
everyone to go in lurk mode so that they become apathetic and lose interest and start to make mistakes due to low interest. also so that your own lurking doesn't stand out.

@ nexus

still treating you as town. you like to fly solo I get it but I am still going to try to work off of your reads. I get where you are coming from about cabd. I have him as unsure leaning town, the townish part comes from his reach out to me. I don't think he would do that with me as scum, especially the way he is going about it. yes he can look pretty terrible but I am leaning town. can we come back to this convo in a week or 2?

@ cabd

if you read this post then you know what I mean by triangulation does that sound like something you would be interested in? also can you give me a list of reads plz.

@inhim

lol are you being serious. there is no way in hell I am on the same scum team as cabd that would mean I hardballed apple into replacing out or did you forget about that whole kerfuffle? and you will have to explain to me the scum advantage for mentioning multi-ball on d1. if it was multi-ball I would be announcing to the other scum team that I was scum and they would be all like oh hai, lets push the lynch on that cos we can get easy town credz <--- that would be retarded why are you accusing me of being a retard. mentioning it on d1 in the way that I did (as flavour spec and site meta) as a tool of wifom would only get me so much mileage I mean as soon the as the nks were revealed it would kind of point to a certain direction doncha think? so that lazy weak-assed accusation of me being scum cos I mentioned it is just dumb and I doubt you will get any traction from it.

all in all I find your scum list and the reasons you have given to be pretty lazy. you subbed into a null/leaning scum slot so if you are town you are going to have to give up a good bit more than that. so far you have not a thing to change my mind except you are putting a bit of effort but that is null.

You hardballed KA and never voted him is what stuck to me.

And it's not that scum posturing about multiball is some grand distraction, mentioning it itself is a small night-action oriented tell.

he is in other games. he is still alive in all of them and you are in none of them.

so why were you going meta-diving in ongoing games where you don't know his alignment?

also even looking at his posting history I can pretty much tell you that his reaction in this game was a lot more excessive than anything in his posting history. so where are you seeing the "same crappy attitude".

fuck it I am not even going to wait for mac. you are lying about looking up his other games and you have been caught and you are scum.

seriously guys, let's fucking do this.

VOTE: killer apple

The height of the KA wagon came on page 16 or so, and the vote from macmollie comes after the mob moves onto metal-sonic, and the dayvig attempt brings the whole game down to really shit levels.

Again, this is predicated on cabd-scum, which I feel is at least better than mod-distributed odds, but not sold on. Reck on the other hand I do not like one bit.

Inhimshallibe, I was intrigued by your statistical analysis there with the votes and such, not a fan of such a cold method of scumhunting but I am still rather intrigued nonetheless.

Can you explain the bottom part of each of your three vote assessments please, whats the significance of the names and their positions?

Mollie are you scum this game? You asked me if we could compare notes and I gave them to you, but you never followed up on it and now you're ignoring me again.

Nexus: Just saying "oh the dayvig he was town!!!" isn't going to satisfy me. His gambit was objectively bad and you still haven't explained how it was different from the other examples of bad play = scum.

This. I'm just setting the foundation for later work.

@Generic - And I'm not into strict published Vote Count Analysis anyway - too many rules that are too easily broken. I much prefer vote progression, where I've listed all the voting activity, as my way of placing some objective context over the game and to brainstorm. The lists at the bottom note stale votes, off-votes, and any other oddity I find intriguing.

okay I am town reading amrun, cbd, nexus, and mebbe tsunami mebbe generic.

I want dekes lynched. players that need to be sorted are tierce, venny, anka, desp, inhim, mebbe reck but I think the hammer looked townish. tell me what your list looks like.

to the rest of you that was what nacho was trying to do on d1 with me but I just wasn't reading him as town. its a strategy he kind of picked up from tr cos it works.

it doesn't matter if the wagon was dismantled at that point, it could have gathered legs at any time. your join date says 2004 and that is what you want to try to come at me with? lol

it looks like you are reaching for reasons to justify a sticky bad read.
