On a clerical note, the numbers next to the players in the first post are now numbered numerically as to accurately correspond to the number of living players in the game, rather than the place in which you joined the game. (As there really is no point to keeping the old numbers and the number of living players is actually useful information.)

So the situation here goes mollie thought playing on the seesaw would be fun, and asked for desperado to give him some cotton candy. Mollie ate the cotton candy, but did not say thanks or sit on her end of the seesaw. Day two comes around, and desperado sees mollie at the seesaw promising fun and cotton candy to other people and feels slighted that she forgot all about desperado whom she left waiting all day and night. So when he goes up to mollie and says what about the cotton candy I gave you yesterday, didn't you like it, aren't you going to sit on the seesaw and have fun with me? Mollie replies that a new day comes with new friends and she doesn't care about day old cotton candy and to even ask is horrible of him.

Mollie just say thank you for the damn cotton candy, and take your turn on the see saw. Desperado made a very reasonable request and its pretty just twilight zone your response.

As for the meta discussion - desperado you are misunderstanding mollie. When she says things like wow your terrible at scum, she's meaning that she's reading you as scum right now and thinks you're terrible at it. She doesn't mean she metad you and learned that.

There were a few posts by generic that are having me doubt my scum read there a little. I need to look back because it could just be me liking anyone who sounded reasonable during that argument.

This is a pretty accurate summary IMO -- however, it doesn't draw any alignment conclusions, which is best since you really should draw them for yourself.

The crux of it is that desperado felt that mollie was ignoring him/being inconsistent and in their talks about this, he thought she was positing an impossible meta read on him and therefore lying scum. Mollie disagrees and thinks he's scum.

It's clear that Mollie's post can be interpreted as NOT a meta read and calling it such is a stretch, but if desperado believed what he was saying and vice versa is up for you to decide.

Personally, I think they both believed their arguments, but I don't think that's alignment relevant for Desperado and the fence is currently giving me splinters on him right now. Mollie is town.

meh, I think I am over it. desp stepped in when I was pressuring inhim who was rolefishing like a mofo to fos me cos apparently I was neglecting him or something. I read him as scum for that cos the timing seemed a bit opportunistic to me.

so far here is a list of my reads:

inhim - rolefishing, he isn't scumhunting I mean he is sneakily sneaking around in very sneaky ways and everyone is letting him get away with it. he promised something flashy and shiny and I am still waiting for it. nacho had bro guy as scum and I understand why; bro's play in this game was very very different than in xeno. I think it bugged nacho that bro trusted my reads over his but there is a good reason for that i.e. xeno. so I didn't see it as scummy, but there are some things that he did that made me go a little hhhhmmm. but inhim is really scumming up that slot. he is in the upper tier of my scum list.

desperado - going on a desp diet for the mo, but I find it weird that he misunderstood what I was saying

generic - I think he is probably town but he is whiny.

cdb - I still think he is town. strongest town read.

nexus - I think he might have been eaten by direwolves or something I mean where did he go. he also isn't doing much so back to unsure but I am trusting cdb on this.

reck - hasn't done much but I think is probably town.

It was the comment about "you're so easy to read" and "this isn't town desp." Both of those read to me like you were basing your read on more than just this game. I've already squashed it in my head.

I think CDB put it best when he called him weird. inHim is clearly playing by a different set of rules, and not necessarily alignment wise. I'd probably compromise on him at deadline but Nexus is much scummier.

Why? CDB's read is "I know he's town because I know."

And Nexus asking me "Is a fake dayvig ALWAYS the worst thing?" when he knew damn well what the answer would be doesn't make any sense to me. His responses to my questions weren't very satisfying either.

I feel really good about tammy being town. What's the scum motivation for her assessment of our argument? Not only did she read it, she had a reasonable and concise interpretation that calmed everyone down and moved the game forward. I don't lean either direction on tierce.

Do you think it could be whiny scum? Of the people who complained about our argument I think his contribution was scummiest. And I still don't like his treatment of my Nexus vote early in the day.
