Only GCBC and Belisarius are left standing. “Well, this is rather awkward, isn't it?” GCBC asks in a conversational tone.
Their disguises melt away, and Belisarius finds a spear in his hands as if from nowhere.
“Til shade is gone, til water is gone, into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with my last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the Last Day!” he says, slowly but with ferocity, knowing it a futile gesture. He slams the spear into GCBC's rib cage.
“I'm afraid that's not going to work anymore. Shame you didn't figure things out just.... a bit... sooner.”
Seconds later, he can hear only triumphant laughter as his spirit seems to rise, and rise, and rise....
Belisarius, Gaul, Town 1-shot Dreamwalker
, has been endgamed.
Rand, Mat, Elayne, Egwene, Birgitte, Siuan, Gawyn, Gaul, Aviendha and Min awaken groggily, all lying facedown in a sort of circular formation in an open plain.
“Urgh... what happened?” someone asks. “Did the rest of you...?”
There is a general agreement, along with a certain awkwardness. Not surprisingly, no one really wants to talk about their apparent inability to tell one another apart from impostors. “What was the point of all that?” Aviendha wonders aloud.
Far away, in Moridin's stronghold, three Forsaken awaken similarly. Lying between them is Moridin's

, now glowing with an ominous red light. “Ah, yes. This will come in very handy. For a moment there,” Moridin says, “I almost thought you idiots were going to let this fall into their hands. I had forgotten how incompetent you all are.”
