Omfg I was under the impression chainsawing the fuck out of detractors is considered defending or hard-defending the victim, I didn't consider it could be soft-defending since chainsaw isn't usually done discreetly, but I see the merit now that I think about it.

I'm sorry, that's my bad, changes quite a bit.

This means that Tierce's activity upon on this revelation actually does mean that Nexus is probably scum, which also ties in Amrun as scum with him since Amrun ALSO soft defended Nexus in the past and is now (possibly) bussing him by using Tierce's activity as ammunition and then eating the towncred for it for all of the mislynches she has done.

There's just one thing that is stopping me from voting Nexus.. ugh.

I never soft defended Nexus. Calling someone town, DIRECTLY, saying, "Nexus is town," is what is called a HARD DEFENSE.

And also I am objectively reallllllly town, imo, both for some good reasons (interactions with Tierce), and for bad reasons (slamming through two mislynches in a row in that manner). But really, there is no way Tierce and I are scum together, just NO WAY

True, you called him town, but I already explained in detail before, right below why I think it was soft defending:

Examples are #546 where she says she's cogitating about it and that it's not on her priority list ( soft defence / delay ), the ending of #605 where she brushes it off and says it's not relevant to the game state right now ( more soft defence ), and the ending of #635 where she just acts unconvinced, vaguely calls Nexus town and pats it down by complimenting me ( little bit of soft defence ).
- It really just boils down to small comments that try to avoid actually defending Nexus,

but still trying to prevent his wagon from catching fire.

Such relationship I see often between scumbuddies. The difference between Amruns defence of Nexus and CDB's defence of Nexus, for example, is that Amrun does it very softly and almost indirectly, while CDB just blatantly out right defends Nexus, which I think is a town motivated response.
