For example, what made you think I was town, and when, and then what changed your mind, and why, and the same for tip. I don't understand your progressions on either of these players, while for example your read on spicer is pretty straight forward.

There are many people that believe in policy lynching when it is a net benefit to the town and has a chance of hitting scum anyway. All instances of policy lynching discussed in this thread have been like this. I don't really think TiP qualifies, really, but it's certainly arguable.
