Please don't play dumb, LLD. Don't tell me that it wasn't the first thing you checked in a Vi FE game.

I will admit I had no idea why you posted that until you said this now. I only noticed the 0 at the end of the last day.

Not to mention that while this third party was alive, the numbers count passively grew faster, and there were specific rules for how the numbers grew which only the Third Party and Vi knew.

You think the numbers would work the same way in this game?

The game designer in me thinks that would be boring.

I felt the lynch was rushed as well. Also it looks like (from what I have skimmed through the other game) the blue numbers did random things at set intervals. Some good, some bad?

Time for setup speculation(and if you have a problem with it tough shit).

So, the numbers have been in every post since the beginning of the game. They didn't go from 0->12 until the lynch though. The number increase also included the phrase, "there was a burst of chaos". This ties into rule #5 in special game mechanics(which, if you guys didn't notice, was actually added a full day after the third rule was stricken out and the fourth rule was added).

Some facts
-The counter only increased at the lynch.
-The counter did not increase at daybreak.
-There was no nightkill.

So, my assumption is that the counter will only increase from one of three factors
1. Death of a player(likely)
2. End of each day(less likely)
2. DTMaster's fake dayvig thing(extremely unlikely)
4. Some other hidden factor

Now, working off the facts, I am assuming 60 is the magic number still. It lines up with the 12 from Haar's death(which 80 doesn't). Of course, that's just blatant speculation.
What happens when the counter hits it's number? I have a couple ideas.
1. A "Mass Outrage" starts. Per rule five. What does that do? I have no fucking clue. (very likely)
2. The game ends. (less likely)
3. Some other effect.

I suspect that "Mass Outrage" has win-condition altering abilities, due to rule 4's wording(but, again, this is pure speculation based on breadcrumbs).

Wow, nice short day. Unfortunate that my random vote ended up getting lynched, but you are all chatter boxes.

Looking back at D1, TIP was an absurdly easy lynch due to changing meta and I am particularly concerned with the nonchalant push by Morph the Cat. Particularly this post:
In post 160, morph the cat wrote:
In post 159, Purpkin wrote:Hi

and I agree with TIP scum
Okay guys, no more hesitation. Run the fucker up.
Which takes zero consideration of TIP being a dynamic person in addition to using another players (Purpkin) read to strengthen a lynching position and posture. Morph's initial push was quite lack-luster as well.

VOTE: Morph the Cat

I also feel The Oil Guys' twilight posting to be disingenuous, I wouldn't mind starting there today either, but that could just be my lack of experience with them.

Also, because I am not familiar with everyone in the game it would make it a lot easier if you would refer to the slot by their name instead of the heads that make up the hydra. Just a pet-peeve of mine considering the hydra was made to play as a unit and not as separate people... but I am sure this request will be shunned and I will have to do additional work to check back with who is who when people use names not in the player list.

Wait, I'm dumb. Mass Outrage was the name of the mechanic in the old game. So, pretty much, my whole last post is meaningless. Okay.

And I most likely have an ability that triggers at some arbitrary number. I'll keep you guys in the loop if we hit the designated number.

Anyways, I need to formally apologize--my play would have been much different had I had the proper context to parse my own abilities and Mass Outrage, but I dived in without doing the proper research.

Nat also needs to die: 177 is a clear distance from the TIP lynch. With a town flip - he is distance man and supportive on the lynch. Scum trait. Qualifies for scum dat is off said wagon. Will read for scum on said wagon after I (sober) get some rest.

Saki's death must quench me. Pretend I'm Edgeworth and I used LOGIC AND REASONS (or Chess: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-a60ITJ2Ko)

Lol, I'm scum because I didn't want to quicklynch him? One, he did seem like the type who will make mistakes and create associative tells and two, why the fuck would I want day one to end in less than twelve hours?

I still want an explanation for the dayvig bluff, btw.

Saki's posting less than usual for scum-him, but I have little experience in games with him. He's a natural heel in any case.

I really don't have very many good reads at the moment. I believe Andrius didn't mean to hammer(I actually thought TIP was at L-2 at the time myself), LLD and Jabberwock are coming off as town, I guess. Since three of the players didn't even get to post, I can't even say anything.

I was curious about your reaction. I bluff day vigs to get some balls rolling. Usually it fails. But you exuded scummy reads. How so? In the time you thought I did do it (i.e. you didn't know if it was real/not) you didn't lay down your reads of scum/town on the table. You did however stall with setup speculation, admission of role fishing, and OMGUS votes because it was the nature of my day kill. I was curious to see how you behaved under pressure - and you didn't do much townie things.

I can't take the newbie card argument seriously even after your 5 year hiatus because you modded a MIND SCREW GAME. You are a walking contradiction. You are both new but not. You play like if you were new, but you are not. 5 year gap aside - shenanigan mechanics and taking time to figure out your role when you don't know what it does yet over scum hunting is a waste of time. You should know. Mind Screw. The info will be generated when you commit more actions. Taking time in the day to figure said things without any data does not advance your questions - and focusing on the day play is more fruitful.

Heck if you flipped out on me I'd say emotional townie. And on the off chance you were scum you'd might slip up. In any sense you'd act in a way that could reveal to me lots of info or not. And if you didn't well a fake day vig would be evident later and things would be discussed ;)
