At this point nothing has occurred that would give me reason to vote by that logic. In post 70, jmo16mla wrote:VOTE: thane
You haven't taken any stances, placed a vote or anything of that nature.
I feel that this was him indicating that he is leaving the RVS stage, and because greywing's vote was placed then...In post 62, ThaneArvan wrote:[quote="In [url=http://www.maHey, sorry stuff got hectic for a few days. How is replacing someone suspicious? The original person never picked/confirmed their role PM. I really doubt that's shows any relevance to alignment.
I don't feel this is at all defensive, it is him explaining his vote.In post 21, Honey bee wrote:Can you explain your vote? Because this post feels unnaturally defensive about it. VOTE: GreywingIn post 20, Greywing wrote:#15 didn't seem a little odd to you?
mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=4985720#p4985720]post 27[/url], jmo16mla"]That's because this is what's called the Random Voting Stage, as it was mentioned before.
It helps break the ice, but leaves scum time to settle in and crack jokes. Overall RVS doesn't help town because generally, town isn't scumhunting in RVS.
Why did you unvote? I greywing's slot no longer suspicious to you?
I can see that, but I did not notice it until I read this post. I semi agree with it but it does not seem like anything at all major. In post 38, uoyeluri wrote:Well hello there fellows.
Glad to see that I missed the truly silly part of RVS and get to make some comments on what has happened so far.
I like the way Malakittens handled the Luigi vote and Jmo'a subsequent questioning. I think Luigii is just being a little overzealous in this Jmo conversation. I am a bit confused as to why Jmo seems to think the best answer to a vote with no explanation is ANOTHER vote with no explanation.
Also, a quick note to Jmo: I know you're an IC, so can you try to keep the double posts to a minimum?
The only other thing I have to comment on right now is #24. Mothrax seems to be coaching here, asking a question of grey and then giving him a road map of sorts to give the right answer to pull early attention off of him. So, I will semi-randomly yet still informedVote: Mothrax
I agree, but as stated focusing on it did get os out of RVS pretty quicklyIn post 51, Luigilewis889 wrote:Well, now that we've established that it was a joke, onwards?
Apologies if I sound a tad rude, but I'm kinda sick of going on about that.
The RVS is over at this point in my opinion. I feel other then maybe lurking I have done nothing at all scummy. In post 55, tybalt wrote:Honey bee is my top town read.Honey bee wrote:Luigi's posts rub me in the wrong way. You should make more of an effort to comment on the thread. When someone comes back to the thread only to end up defending themselves I start to think they aren't looking for mafia. I know the first day is particularly hard to find information but you at least have to try to make some reads.
The Jmo and Mothrax votes I'm not feeling currently. I think jmo's vote is fine this early in the game and mothrax coaching thing doesn't make sense. Isn't coaching something you do for a scumbuddy? It's not something I'd look for without knowing the alignment of one of them first.
Honestly, I really don't see how you can see that as a serious vote, but it got us out of RVS, so let's leave it at that.Greywing wrote:I'll remove it if I find someone scummier then you.
Why are you still going on about a joke RVS vote?
moth, mala, JMO giving me town vibes.
VOTE: ThaneArvan being awfully neutral.

How is ThaneArvsn being neutral?
Basically this, so now I'm sort of confused as to why you would ask me if you hold the same opinion...In post 65, Malakittens wrote:ThaneArvan,
You are still side-lining though. You haven't placed a vote. Do you have any scum-suspects worthy enough for a vote?
Town
1. Honey bee
2. JMO
3. Moth
Null
1. malakittens (Town vibes but I don't know why she would ask me a question and then post later the answer)
2. uoyeluri (Good first post but inactive)
3. Greywing (towniest null read right now)
Scum
1. luigilewis (I agree with what other people are saying about him)
2. ThaneArvan
Same with me, but I've played on forums a long time ago. I think what he is saying is that using your vote shows your opinions and sparks discussion, whereas not using your vote sort of makes it look like you're trying to lay low and slow discussion so that scum will not be found.ThaneArvan wrote:I have played mafia in real life but never via forum, I am used to beig able to rely on expressions and tone. Thane's first post was #10..
You voted him in #55..
He didn't provide anything.. Anything to be neutral.. You're basically voting a lurker who's not really being considered a lurker.
Now if second post came before your #55 then you might have a chance with that argument, but right now you're grasping at straws.
Sorry Tybalt, but I don't like your latest post. You seem to be tryin to find your footing, but it's really weak and really giving me a bad vibe. I can see new scum going for the lets vote a lurker card to try to avoid attention and look like they are helping.
VOTE: Tybalt

VOTE: Thane
Still hasn't voted, and with a lot of discussion and accusations going around, even a couple in my direction, I can think of a few reasons, but the most prominent in my mind at the moment is unsure of who to put pressure on to get lynched. Which is mainly done as Mafia, in my experience.
In post 82, Malakittens wrote:That's an oppurnist vote if I ever seen one.
It's null tell because town can be afaird to pressure. I remember my first ever game. I was scared to pressure.
Okay my top two scum list is { Tybalt, Lugi}
In post 90, ThaneArvan wrote:VOTE: Luigilewis889 for not mentioning me until he is asked by jmo in post #72 how he feels about me. Upon being asked about me he quotes what others have said and then votes me. It seems almost like a less experienced mafia following the lead of a more experienced one, however this is flawed by the fact that I get a town read from jmo.
Okay,In post 93, Malakittens wrote:Replacing out is a null tell.
Jmo. Do you still think Thane is scum? You're barely hunting to me and your vote for pressure is now not needed because Thane is actually producing content etc.

Is this the most important reason for you voting him? You don't even mention anything prior to this being scummy, but then this six word statement garners a vote on day 2. Bad vote

Grey this is ridiculous. Why didn't you drop back in and say oops when you re-read it and realised (probably moments after posting it) that you've misread the sentence? Seems like you have time to drop in whenever you want to make a demand or place some allusion on someone's intent but absolutely no time to answer the questions given to you. This is pretty much the same complaint I had of jmo to start with, but I have to re-read jmo in light of heavy tunnelling. If you're doing the same thing to me, and ignoring my own questions, from experience it can be a slippery slope. In post 508, Greywing wrote:Care to quote where I said this?In post 502, Gen_Wolf wrote: (...)
You say mothrax would have been blameless for a no lynchbut I also see no way we can blame him in this situation as he was not on the wagon?
As well, I have no time to answer questions fromscum reads.I've been perfectly happy answering questions from Honey, Jmo and Mala since I trust them.
But answering questions allows for more information out into the town, helping to focus your thoughts and helping us catch scum. Besides just because they are your scum reads does not mean they can't possibly be town. This is a cop out to keep from answering questions.
I'll answer the first question for you, since you clearly have some problems putting information together. In post 514, talah wrote:So this:Why did you ask this? How does it help town?In post 396, Greywing wrote: @Jmo: Before someone hammers you, do you see Talah as the most likely partner for Mothrax then?
...And other recent questions from Gen, and previous questions, go completely unanswered. (I give you credit for your most recent post which is actually a direct answer.) But seriously, we need to scumhunt, which means if you're town you need to be open to answering all kinds of questions, not just the ones that suit you. You had that attitude early on yourself pestering Tybalt (or Thane?) for the answer to a question. Y U NO answer questions?
I assumed Jmo was soon to be dead due to the wagon forming, and the reads of the playerlist regarding him. I wanted his opinion before he died. I fail to grasp why this was so tough to understand.
Gen or Grey wagons both have my stamp of approval.
