As for champion picks, I have a rule that I never give anybody crap for picking a "bad" champ, unless it's absolutely stupid (like support nidalee), and I try to only do that in ranked games.

Support Nid's in solo queue tend to actually be very good.

If that is your threshold for absolutely stupid, I feel like you would be giving people crap a lot. There are a lot worse champion picks going on in solo queue than that. In my (admittedly not very pro) experience, support Nid is actually playable if they actually have a mind toward supporting.

Actually, support Nidalee is one of the only picks I take exception to. Nidalee is a god-awful support. Not only is she not a good support, she is one of the worst champions in the game at supporting. If you were to make a list of all the champions in the game and rank them based off of how good they were in the support role, Nidalee would be in the bottom 20%.

She's good in lane. Who doesn't want bush control, sustain, surge, AND possibly the best poke in the game?

Problem is, nidalee needs farm/kills to be NIDALEE and I'm afraid that she can't get that gold while being a support.

If the lane does bad then support nidalee is practically worthless if she does bad.

And she usually doesn't get gp10/sightstone because that cripples her manapool and makes her terribad in lane.
(and lord help the ones that cant hit spears)

so yeah, not the best support out there but it works, especially if there's a skill gap between the nidalee and the enemy laners. then it gets really interesting

Support seems to be his best role at the moment. He is also a capable jungler if your team doesn't need a tank there. He used to be my main mid, but once you get to games past level 30 he is really an effective mid only against certain matchups. I would really only play him top against a Rumble.

Ziggs is prolly the hardest mid right now, and I think he's gonna get buffed in not much time because he's actually a bit underpowered

At low levels, he's kinda easy and very entertaining, so yeah I'd recommend it personally.

But at higher levels you'll realise that Fiddle mid (without his ult, obviously) doesn't deal enough damage at all. I'd recommend him only in the jungle (nintendudex played him a couple of times in the lcs), and maybe, just maybe supp (his fear is INSANE in lane, but your adc might hate you cause your ult does TONS OF DAMAGE even if you don't build any ap items). I honestly never tried him top.

I recommend Annie. Mot a difficult champ, good at higher level play. Not countered too easily. Cheap IP cost.
