I honestly don't know it is just you asking how someone can trust meta on you because they have been in a game with you before? I don't see how that says town. It doesn't quite say scum, but in my opinion it doesn't say town at all. Just a useless question. What is someones metaing you going doing anything to prove your town?

You mean other than (jokingly?) suggesting you look for relational tells on an unflipped player and also (jokingly?) advocating stretching the day after you've got the lynch you want? Yeah I don't like either of those positions being advocated even if not seriously.
In post 604, Purpkin wrote:I think that post is pretty town though...

DDD, I why do you think the hammer is more likely to happen from Andrius-scum over Andrius town?

moreso, what do you think of rest of the wagon?
Andrius' title comes from his breadcrumbing, something which requires subtlety and tact to pull off. Furthermore, he clearly read the entire game prior to his post given he quoted extensively from it. Do I think a player who has some modicum of skill and a perchance for subtle plays and clearly knew that TIP was heavily voted "accidentally" hammered? I don't think so. I think it's much more likely that he saw a free and easy lynch that he could get with no risk of it falling apart due to claim because of a claim and minimal risk because both it was an "accident" and he's a relatively persuasive player and look he was right in his assessment because it took until a replacement to make an issue of it. Also look at his posts afterwards they read to me as much more the classic scum going "oh damn, scum killed our doctor" commenting on the flip than they read how I would react if I had committed that mistake.

It wasn't a joke?

not really, I was kinda being serious when I stated that we should slow down and let others comment on the game before we had the day end. There were several people who have yet to state anything, and in less than a real days time someone had been ran up to L-1 (though I wasn't aware at the time)

I was getting a scum-vibe from TIP though I kinda wanted a bit more time to interact with him and get a more solid read. I didn't really expect for the hammer to come down so soon.

also, Being aware of the game-state, and being aware of one-self are two different things. if andrius's title was gained from the fact that he is good at being subtle, it shows that he has high self-awareness, but it doesn't necessarily mean that he has high game-state awareness. Yes, it's obvious that he read the game, but while catching up I don't think one bothers to even check how many times one is voted. I sure as hell know I don't, and it looked completely accidental from my POV.

I also don't think that Scum-andy would have spent so much time trying to see how everyone viewed him based on his hammer, or if he did He wouldn't be so obvious about it.

also, you going to address that second sentence?

I'm going to take a page from notscience's book here and say i'm now only reading every third word you say.

1) Except there's no reason he shouldn't have been aware of the game state given that this entire thing comes in one big catch-up post with quotes running from beginning up to that point.

2) Wait, scum wouldn't care about the perception it gave? Yeah, that's not even close to being right. Your argument towards "wouldn't be so blatant" is comparatively a decent argument except personally I've started doing things like that as scum that are super blatant to draw that perception and if I'm doing it then rest assured other competent players are doing it.

3) If I feel like, maybe, at some point.

I feel like we've crossed wires here.

I thought you were asking about the differences between my read and Cabd's read of LLD. But your reply sounds like it's maybe about daemon. It doesn't make sense to me if you are talking about LLD.

Re daemon, Cabd hasn't been around much today, so I've gone ahead and meta'd daemon's other MS games on my own and passed my thoughts over to Cabd. Once he's had a look I'll post what I learned.

On the note against Debonair I'm not sure what caught my eye on him at first. After looking back maybe his entrance was kinda weird to me but I always get confused when someone gets replaced it is a whole new play style and whole new everything really other then alignment and role. He does seem kind of blunt though. Not all in a these are the facts kind of way, but maybe a bit lazy in a way. I'd like to see more from him though before I can get a full read though.

My thoughts are pretty similar here re: Daemon. I thought #601 read incredibly genuine, particularly the self conscious bits about being paranoid that he's wrong.

I'm taking a look at Andrius' recent games right now and jesus fucking christ this guy posted over 500 times in a game and they're all long stream-of-consciousness walls. I'll have something there in a few hours.

DDD wrote:Do I think a player who has some modicum of skill and a perchance for subtle plays and clearly knew that TIP was heavily voted "accidentally" hammered?
Hey DDD.
When was the last time we were in a game together?
I got my title for breadcrumbing, not for being subtle or making SUBTLE PLAYS.
Seriously, SOMEONE show me where I make SUBTLE PLAYS in a game.
DDD you can even pick!
LLD, Nacho, Cabd, ffery are all people that have seen me in at least one recent game.
So ask them.
Ask them how subtle I am.
Ask Cabd and ffery if I broadcasted all of my night actions in Xenoblade the day before I acted.
Ask LLD if I was obvscum in BDM. Ask LLD where my balls were in STRATEGY MAFIA.
Ask Nacho for the subtle plays in LoLMafia.

So maybe you may say that me not claiming my damage reduction passive and details of that in LoL Mafia was subtle.
It wasn't. Given it was pretty obvious and I crumbed it early.

So yeah. You can keep insisting that some player who is clearly fucking brilliant and makes AWESOME SUBTLE PLAYS with a horrible win:loss ratio decided to actually count the votes (which is vi's job) and was like "OH AN OPPORTUNITY TO QUICKHAMMER LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL LETS DO IT" and take a page from someone else's book.

Or you can maybe believe that, since there were no votecounts, I just went on my merry way and voted the player I thought was most scummy with no intention of hammering.

Your call DDD.

Crumbing doesn't take subtlety- since they're SUPPOSED TO BE FOUND.

I don't count votes as I read.
There are votecounts for that.
If there was one at the time I would have seen it but since Vi didn't post any votecounts that stated TIP was anywhere near the DONTTOUCHHIMORHEDIES level.
