An excellent mix of incredibly in depth IIoA mixed with top notch scumhunting that, if fake, would go down as the single greatest post in the history of mafia. RC is town forever and ever, amen.
Awesome. I appreciate that, because I am pretty darn certain that you're town and it's good that we can work together. I feel very comfortable in trusting your reads/intuitions based on your play so far, so at the very least we can exchange information and help each other out.
Desperado 2788 wrote:And I didn't ignore it, Red.
Ah, okay, cool. That's good. I paid special attention to people who were calling out Toog/Amrun because I think they've both played pretty solid and think that anyone calling them out over the claim thing would be kind of a copout and fake scumhunting that I would find suspect.

Sugar 2792 wrote:all his scumreads are like the most suspected players in the game and both me and Mara didn't like the fact he kept bandwagoning without being fully caught up.
Uh, no. How many votes do you three have total? Metal Sonic had, like, 2. AD had 1. You had 0. The only people really calling you out consistently have been Thor and OGML. With AD it's been mastin. I'll give you that Metal Sonic has had many detractors over the course of this day, but that's because they're scum for the reasons I've described and should be lynched.
Also the bandwagon as I have explained at least twice so far, but will keep explaining as long as it keeps being brought up. Large games have many people and lynches aren't a scary thing that towns need to be afraid of and put off until the last minute. Lynches in large games on the first 2 or 3 days really should just be about getting rid of dead weight that is detracting from the town. Elli fits that bill perfectly, and so did SK.

NBH 2794 wrote:This was AioI : Analysis instead of Information
Yeah, I thought it was kind of weird to call it IIoA because 95% of that post was analysis of posts, but whatever, lol.

Sugar 2798 wrote:I think you are about the only person in this thread that thought our roleblocker claim was real and that just makes me sad.
I apologize for taking the things you say seriously and reading you with the assumption that you'd actually want to help and not harm the town.
Sugar 2798 wrote:Why was it important to move my vote?
Why is it important for any town player to move their vote? It puts them on the record as voting to lynch someone. It's important to use for analytical purposes. I don't like the way you've been using yours.
Sugar 2798 wrote:You have me leaning scum for doing something that I'm known for doing? WTF?
Known for doing in this game. Paranoia doesn't read town to me. Especially mixed with your hydra dissonance it comes across as scummy.
Sugar 2798 wrote:Upon what authority has told you that Toog is town?
Upon my own, brother. I don't need anyone's authority to townread someone.
Sugar 2798 wrote:Why did you feel the need to skip a paragraph on Titus? Can you explain your Titus read better? In your little blurb it seems like you have it more in a positive light than negative so....yeah.
Because I was tired of writing at that point and didn't want to start another big thing over a player that I have a significantly weaker scumread on. Titus made one key error. He's either scum over that, or he's arguably helpful town.

Toog 2804 wrote:You have zero post accountability when heads disagree in thread. If Mara thinks player A is scum, and then Nero comes in and says player A is town, you set up a schizophrenic read that makes it near impossible to have relation tells. It's almost like fence sitting imo.
This. I doubt you'll treat it any more rationally coming from Toog instead of me, but it's still valid. I know I've beat you over the head with this point, but it's a big reason why I'd be content to lynch you. (@Sugar)
Toog 2806 wrote: Good stuff, though I wont jump up and down like Desp did about how town RC is for it because RC-scum would know well enough that only a post like that would be acceptable for town points at this point.
Yes, it should be known that I can make these large wall posts as
scum or
town, so it's not something you should fully hang your hat on just because. That said, I am town.

Titus 2810 wrote:His whole read is basically a fence sit on me entirely.
*shrug*
I don't think OGML as scum or SK would've stuck his neck out this far to get you lynched. I believe him. Therefore, the slip is creditable in my eyes. Other than that and your concocted story on how you are completely innocent on anything that wayne did, you've been playing pretty town. That's why I'm not really going to push hard for your lynch, but I would be satisfied with it. Maybe that's fencesitting, but it's the truth.

Thor 2813 wrote:@Titus - why do you think his scum reads are obligated to make sense as a scum team?
This.

Desperado 2815 wrote:Not only that but that that isn't he first time he's floated the "You really think scum would double bus like that?" WIFOM and it's really disconcerting.
This too.

Sugar 2836 wrote:I mean I've been calling RC scum since n1 'cause I felt that he had no business bandwagoning SK like he did when he wasn't caught up.
We approach the game differently then. You two are scared of lynching. I value it, especially when many in the town have little to no self-control.

You're not a policy lynch, kid. Policy lynch is one of the most misused terms on MS, I think.

Sugar 2870 wrote:I'm pretty sure Mollie and DBG had fought a little in thread, and so did Jon doe when they were a hydra yet you have Mollie/DBG as "don't want to lynch, yet don't have a town-read on them" kinda read
There's one big, gigantic difference between your slot and NBH's slot. I'll let you think on it. JD is no longer in this game, so that's neither here nor there.
Sugar 2870 wrote:you accuse us of bogging down the thread, though a few of your own town-reads have done that as well? Why are we scummy for it, while they aren't?
What townread of mine has been bogging down the thread? The closest would be Thor, I guess, but nearly every post he makes has a clear goal, a clear objective in mind. Like him or not, he's trying to get something done. The same cannot be said for you, I argue.
Sugar 2870 wrote:You don't agree with my Toogers read, but you don't explain how me reading him as scum is scummy. You also ignore my entire push on Thor even though it was just as bad as my push on Toogers?
Your push on Thor must not have stuck out like the one on Toog did then. I think your push on Toog is seriously misguided and you put too much weight on the idea that he's using IIoA. I think Toog is bring information in about the theme in a very responsible way and helping the town, especially the players that aren't as familiar with the theme, digest it a bit more easily. It strikes me as good stuff, and to call him on it feels like weak scumhunting.
Sugar 2870 wrote:You've accused my post of being overly emotional, ok so? How is that, in anyway scummy?
Preying on people's emotion is a way to manipulate them in an underhanded way. It's easy to fake.

NBH 2882 wrote:Ellibereth is strategic-lurking now. He's not even voting or anything. I'm willing to hammer but I want Metal Sonic to catch up before we hit.
I agree with the first part. Elli is thinking the lurking will either let the town trip over themselves and start moving their votes around (which is kind of happening) or that he's getting lynched anyway so no point in trying to act townie.
I don't agree with the second part because I strongly doubt anything Metal Sonic could say would change my opinion of him. That policy lynch statement looked incredibly weak to me and not like a soft claim at all.
