GiF barely jumped on for horrible reasons and TD never jumped on. Only Orc and I were on it from the other team.

Which left 8 of the 11 necessary votes for town. Town votes take a while to get.

For once in this game I wish Majiffy/PM ( sign your posts darn it ) would stop asking useless questions and answer mine.

TD's outbursts have a lot of flail. His would look a bit townie if he wasn't flailing so hard, but all I see if scum flail and scum rage.

I mean, it could be town lashout, but I don't feel it's as likely to be town-lash as scum-lash; and either way, heaping on pressure means more emotions, which means an easier read.

It looks scum because as town, merely lashing out at your wagon leaders is not really the best play. Town-TD; I feel like, would have looked to explain his reasoning instead of merely OMGUS voting.

More pressure, more emotional outbursts, easier read in the end. This isn't like cold stone, where I was wiling to lynch somebody within a few hours or less of the game starting; but more outbursts equals more to go off of.

@B&B: Mostly the frustration he had over my post that he called 'waffling'. It annoys me when players toss around buzzwords like that. After the interaction, and especially when I realized that Venmar's claim was wholly null and that Nick's vote was there for reasons that weren't as tangible as I had first thought, I started to believe in the claim a bit more. I still think TD is scum, and I'd like some more response from TD before I consider backing down. I agree a lot of the votes on the wagon are inarticulate and/or opportunistic, but my focus can't waver now.

IOW though it was the main bandwagon for nearly all of day 1, it was not a fast wagon. Several players with every intention of voting me held off for quite a long while so the town bloc could be solidified, null reads clarified, and lots of opportunities for associations to happen.

Multiple wagons helps find out who is scum later on, and I feel both TD and FTL need pressure. And FTL is slightly scummier than TD.

I don't like that when I play straight-forward town, everyone's like "VARSOON SO SCUM" because I did it in like one other game somewhere.
It's not a -reaction test- "defense" when I outright GOT VENMAR TO REPLY IN A GENUINE WAY THAT LET ME READ HIM BETTER. I'm milking the interaction between him and TD for info, something other players aren't. Please note that Notscience and NachoPappa haven't engaged too much on either side and half of the player list hasn't even fucking posted a decent contribution.
IF I THINK OF SOMETHING TO WRITE AFTER MY POST, I WILL WRITE IT. THREADS WILL BE SPAMMED AT A SPEED FASTER THAN LIGHT.
As far as the reason why I thought that nickthename was voting him without saying so--I thought it was a soft counter-claim until Nick explained his vote, which made me less assured of my own. @Notscience: Now that you're confirmed town, you need to play the game. I was in Open 512 with Pasche, who was Innocent Child and he gave up playing after his IC reveal. Heads up, all. I've gotta go pick up a package, settle some debts, and cook dinner. An old friend of mine and I are playing FF7 together, so I'll probably return to that instead of this thread for the night. Just wanted to give people a heads-up, because at the current game pace, it could easily look like I ditched out or am lurking or whatnot and I might miss questions directed at me when I am catching up.

Mac's vote makes a bit of sense if you count engagement with Venmar interaction and not liking TD's play (a bit abstract here), and Ghostlin's is explained.

@Nick: I feel like I've got scum. It's largely gut, but based on interaction with TD, his interaction with others, and how he's not in-thread once his wagon blew up, well--I think I've got scum and I don't want to give up on it unless I'm sure otherwise.
