Except everyone on the Majiffy wagon is being stubborn as fuck.In post 2850, serrapaladin wrote:Like hell he does. I'm at L-2 and with Venmar's hovering vote I might as well be at L-1.
That's not the point at which town thinks: "whelp, seems I'm not getting my actual scumread lynched, so let me just intent to hammer the counterwagon".
I try to move people off and am called scum with Majiffy.
Shrug.

You should first know that Mollie and I play together constantly, probably close to about 40 games since she started on this site.In post 2847, serrapaladin wrote:Although I don't completely agree with wisdom's view, there is something off about Majiffy's challenge. The mollie scumread came more or less out of nowhere (and really didn't have enough support to justify a challenge), and there's no way I'm buying that Majiffy challenged Grim because "it was the popular opinion".
And why not @ Challenge?Only playing in games at personal moderator and/or 50%+ playerlist request.

@Venmar: Cool story bro.
In our QT, in the run up to his lynch coug said that it looks as though he'll die soon and he asked Grim to keep posting in the QT if coug is lynched. Grim took this as AtE from coug to convince Grim he's town. I think both coug's request and Grim's take were reasonable.
I get that it's shit if you don't get your scumreads lynched, and I suppose all I can do is tell you that you're barking up the wrong tree and to stop tunnelling. Grim's last QT post actually shows quite a bit of frustration at the fact that he's engaging with this game a lot, and has reads he's confident in, but still seems to attract so many scumreads from people, not all of whom can be scum.In post 2852, AngryPidgeon wrote:Maybe Im jaded cause literally every game Day has had the same bullshit happen.
@Majiffy: from what I've seen of your game, doing something because people want you to isn't really your style. Did you actually think you had a good chance at getting mollie lynched when you challenged?Wandering but not lost- serrapaladin

Yeah, I get that and all....I guess my next thought is: why are you still, then, acting so confident as though we should just go along with who you want to lynch just because you said so/with weak arguments? You have a bad track record this game and I think your play style continues to be harmful to the town in this way - I think that it is scummy to act overconfident about who you think is scum to lynch and provide little explanation with the way you have voted and been wrong thus far. I think if you were really out for town interest, you would make more of an arguments/interpretations to present for consideration. But, like you keep trying to make me aware of...maybe you just always play this way. As I stated earlier on, I don't really care for meta-play arguments so guess that's that.In post 2845, Majiffy wrote:

Not that mine are great, but he has been on the wagon to lynch three townies and had just ridiculously weak-sauce argument for Elyse (and probably the others..I ISOed once and already forgot, just overall doesn't actually delve into much detail).
And before anyone says it, I am aware that Enomis has basically no track record and neither do I really. That part sucks and lowers my credibility for this type of argument but it is really how I see it."One's mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions." - Oliver Wendell Holmes- serrapaladin

Besides Majiffy and me, is there anyone you'd consider for scum?
No, I haven't read any of his games. Maybe I'm wrong then..idk. Still going to stick with my vote.
TBH, a lot of people in this game are all over the place and therefore difficult to read - wis, AP, & mollie in particular I still don't really know how I feel about. So, those are possibilities but I haven't looked at any of them in depth/ISO at this point. Well, I tried to do Mollie but the posts were kind of difficult to read...overall vibe was not enough solid contribution to the game one way or the other...so still didn't have a conclusive feel/read about her."One's mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions." - Oliver Wendell Holmes- Majiffy

I wanted to pressure her and see how she reacted. She didn't react well.In post 2856, serrapaladin wrote:@Majiffy: from what I've seen of your game, doing something because people want you to isn't really your style. She hasn't been interacting with me the way she usually does in situations where we can communicate outside the game (hydras, for example) despite having had a strong townread on me at the start of the game. This makes me think she's hiding something / doesn't want me to get too much to use against her.In post 2858, serrapaladin wrote:And Majiffy, do you have any good reasons for scumreading mollie besides her avoidance of this thread? Did you just expect people to sheep your 40 games worth of experience?
And yes, I do expect you to sheep me based on that heavy amount of prior experience.
I find it ironic that you're calling me out for weak arguments yet you're trying to lynch me for playstyle reasons while overtly stating that "well maybe you just play this way but I don't care I'm going to vote you for it anyway"... Which is a weak argument and detrimental to the town.In post 2859, SeraphicMirth wrote: Yeah, I get that and all....I guess my next thought is: why are you still, then, acting so confident as though we should just go along with who you want to lynch just because you said so/with weak arguments? Yeah, I had that realization as I was saying it but I just have a feeling with how it all reads. Maybe you play that way too but your hunches have been off. No one has presented any solid arguments for anyone and this game is hard to play, much less replace into. So...yep. I dunno what else to say. I do think your play style is fishy - whether you play all the time like that or not and in combination with bad reads...while it doesn't necessarily equate to scum, it doesn't mean it's not either. That's all I've got right now. This game is balls so I dunno. In post 2864, Majiffy wrote:

So now you decide to vote for me?
Worryingly, the last 15 or so pages actually do make more sense with Majiffy as town. And yet mollie's ISO for the first 70 or so pages really makes me think she's town... I'm not particularly willing to just sheep Majiffy, so I really have no idea what we should do today.
There's the off-chance that they're both scum, but that'd be a pretty ridiculous move by Majiffy.Wandering but not lost- Wisdom
