Thanks everyone, I am sorry that I was having so many issues, and a big THANKS to NS for stepping up to co-mod with me. I want to say overall a really good game. Especially since there were so many replacements in this one. A very big thanks to Nacho for replacing in at a rather tough time where he was pretty much screwed.

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask

Will ask Nacho and TIP if it is all right to release the Mafia QT. Though really after TIP was lynched not much in it.

It was funny how I was building a case against tamuz in the end, but voted nacho.

LOL I was wondering about that... Also wondering if you were going to vote before deadline. I need to modify my rule set for newbie games as well as non newbie games because it has the plurality vote thing in there and based on that, had you either voted for tamuz or not voted before deadline, Nacho would have won, since Gen Wolf voted for Tamuz before Tamuz voted for Gen Wolf.

Interesting. I had the vote tags ready with nachos name, but it scared and had to go reread.

I hated how everyone was calling me a bad player and stuff and I had found scum. Ass holes. Lol

I kept waiting for tamuz and gen to battle I out live I've done in lylo and needless to say, the was very anticlimactic. I knew if one replaced out, that I would be able to see the case as genuine or not.

I wouldn't say that they were really a great find, I though they were pretty obvious. I was his hoping they held true to thane being her partner instead of just some random person she defended XD

Of course you knew then and still know I wasn't talking about you, but you did much better at sowing doubt than I had expected. It caught me off guard, so I had to switch gears hard.

I still maintain Gen was scum-slipping all over the place with words like bus, and trying to prove that he isn't scum, instead of showing how his actions make sense as town.

I rly hope gen flips scum because if he does that will mean that I snuffed out both scum by reading less than 50 posts total. :3

Alas, we also have to be able to push our reads... and make people not see us as scum, which is the harder part imo.

This game shows me that I really need some sort of spam-protection on my numbers (really a better classification scene) and much better normalization on both entropy and rankings. But I present the scummiest post in the game with a 99.94994% confidence that it is scummy:

I'm not sure what type of response you are expecting from me in regards to this. I could suggest you meta me regarding this, but it's your call. I don't like early L-1/L-2 wagons because there's not much information to go off in-case of a quick lynch. If there's a flip (regardless of alignment) due to interactions with everyone it brings me one step closer to figuring out the scum from town members.

Anyways, far from my best game. I wouldn't have believed that Mala was scum as I had an overwhelmingly Town read on her. It was undoubtedly good for Town that I was lynched because it helped to zero in on TIP after his scummy quickhammer, and the fact that I would have stood in the way of lynching him.

Kudos to Jmo: He played a great game and really started to carry the Town after his near lynch.

Highlight of the game was Talah essentially rage-quitting after my flip. I'd gotten fed up with him by the end, and I think eventually my scum read on him became based more on the fact that I wanted him gone, rather than anything overtly scummy that he'd done.

Pretty terrible first game from me.

No doubt a learning experience as an intro to mafia, and probably more importantly the lines that shouldn't be crossed between player and person. -My apologies- for managing to offend practically everyone, I think.

jmo, as a newbie I only *wish* I'd asked you to put on the IC hat half a dozen more times. The IC conversation was an entirely safe place for me in a sea of doubt and I'm thankful you were able to put the ingame stuff aside and clarify what was going on. You're really good at it and obviously have a passion for the game!

I came in and made the case on malakittens being an active lurker, but after that I was genuinely stupid in immdiately sticking TIP without really paying any attention to the case on gen_wolf, especially since I agreed on most of the points against him. I kinda waste time yelling at tamuz for a while before he realizes I know I made stupid posts. Then we're finally able to admit that we aggree with each other's scum reads. The town lynching honeybee, guy in freezer was really terrible since their posts reeked of town intent, and the original argument on greywing was pretty shaky, though his play kinda weakened at the same time, so It was a fair mislynch.

i think it takes playing a few games with you first Jmo to be able to see that you are town not scum. I know I scum read you a lot early on.

Actually Talah replaced out of all his games. I really liked the enthusiasm and the activity, if I were going to give advice though, would say maybe tone it down slightly. Glad you came back and posted Talah is that a picture of your dog?
