This post reminds me of my first game in this site where people tried to lynch someone based on exactly this.

I think he's using AtE as a "don't hate me guys, I'm revving up, promise". So yes, it's bad, and yes, it's scum motivated.

I didn't have particularly strong feelings about you either way before the mastin push. You were firmly in my null pile because, while you hadn't done anything that looked particularly scummy, you'd also done nothing that looked town either.

But yes, I agree with Ghostlin's points about you liking everyone who votes mastin.

If you want to call that "jumping hard" on you, or "opportunistic as fuck", frankly I don't give a shit. If you're town, your read on me is horrible, and if you're scum, I really hope you try to get me lynched. There's nothing I love more than having some dumb fuck come after me when I'm town.

Mastin - Null. I see why people are reading him as scum, but I'm not there right now. He looks like town having a bad hair day, basically, and I can think of a couple recent games where I really struggled to get a handle on the game on day 1 (and beyond). That's what I feel like I'm seeing with Mastin.

I said disconnected and it's because I come away from his posts with the impression that he's not directly addressing stuff people say to/about him, but just kinda reiterates his towniness and goes back to his reads and theories in a way that feels like it's happening in a vacuum. I've tried to engage him with neutral tone and that kinda works.

Yes, I believe that it was way too easy a push for a lynch. Think about it, what easier excuse is there to lynch someone other than a 'scumslip'. Notice when I pointed it out, I didn't take any action on it (even though I had checked before posting). In fact, if you wanted to check, these people (the majority) had no suspicion of Mastin previously and now are making a case around the scumslip. This is a reason why they are indeed scum.

In fact, in what world does Mastin even decide to talk about the amount of scum day 1 as scum? How would that possibly benefit him? This question is the easiest way to point out that his comment wasn't a scum slip.
