AP, would you please define in what way you're using the word "posturing". I'm getting the impression it's more a buzzword for you than anything else. Also, could you make sure you write both r's in serra (or else call me SP, or pala, or something).

I don't really like voting against my individual reads, but unless they're both town, this way round makes more sense.

VOTE: mollie

AP, if you're convinced Majiffy is town, why are you disregarding his read on mollie?

If any Sera is scum at all, it's Seraphic.
But I think they're both town.

Ya, thats a good idea. I noticed I dropped an R.

By posturing I mean that you are making statements about the game without having any emotional/logical reason for believing them.

For instance, you saying that Majiffy is being bussed if scum doesn't really make sense for me.

Do you just expect scum to be bussing all the time? Who is bussing mollie if she is scum?

Fair enough, that's not quite how I've heard it used, but fine.

If Majiffy is scum, I say that I think he's being bussed because in my experience if there's a wagon on scum that's lasting more than a few pages, there'll almost invariably be scum on that wagon. It's obviously just a heuristic, but it's served me well.

Similarly, I'd argue there'll have been at least 1 scum on the NS wagon, so something like mollie/venmar/sera just seems very unlikely.

The pool of players eligible to be lynched today consists of:

Majiffy
pirate mollie

serrapaladin

Here are the current votes:

pirate mollie(3) - Majiffy, Wisdom, serrapaladin
serrapaladin(3) - qwints, AngryPidgeon, Venmar
Majiffy(2) - pirate mollie, SeraphicMirth

Not Voting (0) -

Given that there are 4 unknowns for you on this wagon, and only 4/7 people in the game are town from your lens, I'd sure hope you thought scum was on the wagon >.>

LYNCHES ON SCUM. why? cos scum is controlling the lynch.

why do you guys think I try get on top of things and work with town so hard on d1? cos if town does not control the game on d1 then scum does.

All it did was antagonise her and bring him closer to being lynched. I think had he either not challenged at all, or challenged my slot and gone after grim hard, he would be in better standing now. Surely he must have anticipated taking flak for the challenge, so that just sounds like arbitrary and frankly bad play for scum-Majiffy.
cos he knows he can outargue me.

I am not going to be mad sera. but jesus christ plz get rid of majiffy in the next day round.

Ugh, I do still think this is probably mollie being town :/

If Majiffy really is scum, why, out of all people, would he decide to go after you? If he's scum, I think that's literally one of the worst things he could have done. You were townreading him before that right? So why would he do that? Why pick you to outargue, when he could have just gone straight for my lynch?

Actually no, screw this. I still want to say they're both town, but if I'm wrong about one, I'd rather have it be scum-mollie looking too town to be scum than scum-Majiffy's actions being bad play for scum. If that means I just let scum-mollie AtE me off a good vote then I apologise, but I'm more comfortable with this:

I wouldn't have followed him so easily as I have been. seraph was scum reading me the day before, ap has been bi-polar but I think if he would have gone after grim it would have exposed him.

it isn't like there isn't a precedent, he tried to get me lynched on tr but none of the players would have it cos they know me there. he has a greater advantage on this site.

Looks like at least one of Majiffy/mollie is definitely scum, this doesn't seem like the right time for them to break their mutual town reads if they were both scum.

Majiffy has dominated the game in a way that hasn't helped town. Given his influence in the game, and the skill I normally see from him, I don't think we'd be where we were if he were town motivated.
