Hey, Kid A-- would appreciate an answer to my question.
Being as unhelpful as possible? Only responding to people who ask him to contribute more to shoot them down? Pointless crypticism up the wazoo? Looks like Slandaar's on his towngame. In post 103, Slandaar wrote:
They are my reads I will explain them when I feel is a good time.In post 80, Formerfish wrote: Why isn't it a good time to expound on your reads?
I do not believe that is what he said.In post 81, A Simple Plan wrote: and I do agree that Slandaar hiding his reads is at the least giving an anti-town vibe.
At least? what are you implying? why have you not explained your reads at present?
An onyx cad doodled ivy loos. :0)In post 101, Gee Gee wrote:EBWOP:@Mod:are you sure buffy vs. dracula are a hydra of the two respective names?
So you think he's town because he got pushed up to L-1?In post 112, StubbsKVM wrote:Well, formerfish was targeted and put at L-1 pretty much immediately. That's pretty much my only reason why I don't think he's scum.
To clarify: the intent was to explain that players are frequently run up to L-1 in the RVS stage of the game and that it's generally viewed as scummy to overreact to pressure through running Fishy up to L-1 and back down to L-2 in the same post. It would have been funnier if I knew how to make one of those frickin unvote tags.In post 116, pdmedic wrote:Buffy V. Dracula agreed with her in post #39 when Buffy V. Dracula says he was Just Kidding in Post #28.
I might be misreading what you're saying here, though. The run-on ran on.

The First one, The wording makes it seem as if it is set that he is scum, and isn't town. Just weird writingIn post 74, Buffy vs Dracula wrote:Really hoping for some more specifics here, mnem. What's scummier-- the first statement or the second statement?-

Seeing pdmedic's activity starting to pick up a bit and seeing that he's trying, I'm going to go ahead and...
UNVOTE: pdmedic.
Now, as far as my current reads go, I'm getting a town read from BvD, Stubbs, and pdmedic, with weak town reads on Gee Gee and Formerfish. Desperado is also a weak town read.
Kid A is probably my top scum read right now, followed by Slandaar. Retreading things, I don't get a good feeling from Kid A's #30, even though I'm fairly certain it was a joke, and I feel like his play is just... Off, I guess, for lack of a better word. His 121 and 123 seem to just be repetitive to pry at pdmedic to get him active, and im unsure what to make of it beyond nagging for answers. I also notice BvD mentioning him ignoring a question from BvD. I still think being able to discuss people's reads and having a chance to get another perspective on a person's behavior would be beneficial to the town, and refusing to share reads isn't being productive, hence my suspicions about Slandaar.
Elyse is also giving off scum vibes, but I'm unsure there; UberKang is giving off mixed vibes, but if I had to guess, I'd say town. Mnemonic Device is reading very unproductive and suspicious as well. From what I've seen of Alexcellent gives off weak scum, but he needs to get active too.

You (and to a lesser extent Elyse) were pushing hard for his hammer one page into the game. I would expect a false positive in that position.
i didnt have any expected reaction

Desperado, leaning town. Elyse, definitely leaning scum.In post 105, StubbsKVM wrote:Uberkang, what are your reads on Desperado and Elyse so far?
Desperado coz he's calling it straight. His #32 is pretty much spot on; Formerfish was giving us a reaction, but it wasn't a magical telltale scared-newb-scum reaction. That he calls and pushes Elyse on it strongly (the rest of his page 2 posts) looks town motivated to me. Although I'm not 100% sure as to why he sees her #60 as particularly damning - can you explain this to me please Desperado?
Elyse's pushing of the Formerfish wagon is misguided at best and scummy at worst. Fish's reactions were not scummy, the posts she quotes in her #35 don't illustrate it at all. I really didn't like that she tried to pull Buffy, me and Alexcellent in on her side either.
I don't like how now (page 5) the issue morphed into whether Elyse wanted Formerfish lynched or not. I don't think this is the issue at all. The issue was and is her misrepresenting his reactions as being scummy.
Also:
I find this really dodgy, I'm not sure I can pinpoint exactly why. Combined with the immediately preceding interactions Elyse has with pdmedic and StubbsKVM, it seems manipulative. In post 119, Elyse wrote:Ok. I have a townread on you. Good job.
Also in other news weighing in on the Slandaar withholding his reads thing - I don't think it really matters at this stage. He'll have to reveal things eventually and if he wants to hold his cards to his chest right now that's fine, as long as we get some other contributions in the meantime.
Finally, I'm a bit iffy on Alexcellent. Grand total of one post with content also citing Formerfish's reaction as suspect but that's it. Given he said he'd post more after work and it's been like 4 days, the dude must pull some mammoth shifts!- UberKang

"No comments on the votes on you?" was a leading question no matter what Elyse says, and clearly implied that Simple Plan should have commented on his votes and was scummy for not doing it. Coming directly on the heels of Elyse's push on Fish (for commenting on votes on him) was really jarring and doesn't look like real scumhunting, just busy work.In post 138, UberKang wrote:Desperado coz he's calling it straight. For me it was the "good job" comment, as if Stubbs should be elated that you've read him as town + blatant pacification. In post 140, Elyse wrote:Ok I'm sorry but how the fuck is "I have a townread on you" dodgy?- Elyse

If it was such a leading question, then why didn't I jump on him afterwards? Because it wasn't and I didn't intend to.
You interpret things way out of proportion, Desperado. Saying good job does not mean that Stubbs should be elated. Stop misrepresenting everything I say and warping it into something scummy. Take the tunnel vision glasses off and think simpler.- Alexcellent

You didn't jump on him because he didn't give the answer that you were looking for that would allow you to do that.In post 142, Elyse wrote:If it was such a leading question, then why didn't I jump on him afterwards? Because it wasn't and I didn't intend to.

Seriously. What answer could I have pounced on him for in response to that question? It wasn't a leading question. He responded in a townie matter. It would be scummy if he said something like "Yeah but I haven't been sharing my comments" or something like that but the way I phrased the question has no bearing on his answer, especially since I garnered a townish read off him.- Desperado
