Pretty sure this is my first game with CDB. Most of my jasonwazza experiential meta is with scum-jason and I keep thinking about vengeball too. Last time I played with him I arguably didn't think enough about vengeball.

You feel like CDB and Amrun are going for low hanging fruit?

p-edit crosspost with CDB. Will have a look.

All excellent points from CDB.

In addition, I'd like to point out that he changed Rach out of "leaning scum" SOLELY because she produced a list of reads, which shows that he associates it with towncred.

him to be town? That's the sort of thing you make up after the fact to explain your behaviour, not that you actually use to inform your reads.
Then there's the fact that he even made a readslist at all - the fact that he's offered no actual opinions or even actual suspicion up to this point mean that he can't be held accountable for the internal process of his reads and the fact that it comes after two other people just did (one of whom he is calling 'leaning scum' in that very post) makes it look like he's doing it to fit in, rather than because he wants to voice his opinion.

This (to Jason) is what you say to someone you're null on who you want to talk so that you can get a read, not someone you already suspect is scum for not participating. If Stubbs were town here, he'd just be calling Jason scum.
I did a comparison of Stubb's and oriole's reads lists after Stubbs replied to my question. I thought their lists had enough similarities to account for Stubbs liking the list. I wanted to wait for more interactions from both of them to see if clarification on the differences would happen, and who would initiate that. Oh well.

Some of your other points are pretty relevant. I have made comments in games about wanting a particular player to be town before. As town. I get flack for it, but when I think it could indicate some bias on my part I throw it out there. Players that I want to be town are usually the players I am most paranoid about.

One thing from metadiving stubbs for other games - he usually puts down pretty solid trajectories on his early votes/unvotes. Not seeing that here.

Not anymore. I was feeling kinda heebie jeebie about how easily Amrun and CDB started working with each other after that early "Amrun is scum" crap in RVS, but that last post by CDB gave me a raging hardon, so I'm not as concerned about him anymore.

How quickly do they usually sort each other? (I used to sort Nacho on the basis of 3-4 early day 1 posts. Then he had to go and eliminate his tells. :/)

LOL raging hardon... Don't ever change Syr....

yeah starting to feel pretty good about Syr being prob town... He tends to be more careful with his wording when scumz.

Will take a look at CDB's links for his case. Still think Jason is scum, and it is not just his activity level, it is what he posted when he did post. Definitely not getting good vibrations here, unlike the Beach Boys song.

Fery has cut down on the amount she has posted but what she has posted definitely feels like town fery not scum fery.

feeling good about Amrun and CDB too.

yeah that whole Rach is scum, oh wait she posted a list, Rach is town bothers me too....

@Syryana, Rach is like how she was in those two games. Extremely lurky. I will have to go back through her games to catch the difference between her scum and town, but to my recollection she had more "useless" questions/observations as scum, and tried to avoid questions asked of her in lieu of fluffy posting.

So far I have Rach as town. She is asking questions that seem genuine.

I'll probably make a bigger post later on, but here's my summary on Stubbs:

Sure, I've seen that he's scummy at this moment in time, but I don't see him as a high priority lynch target. I'd rather Jason.

Stubbs has fallen from slightly Town though.

How in the world do you have such a strong town read on oriole?
I like his reads list a lot. Maybe it's also because I want him to be town, because he's a great asset if he is.

JasonWazza: Slightly scummy because of what he's done so far (i.e. nothing but claim that he has a scumread and that he'll elaborate later). To be honest I feel like I should consider him null until he actually elaborates, but I feel his attitude about it (especially early on) is anti-town at best.
LnGrrrR: Slightly town because...don't know to be honest, it's mostly an aggregate of extremely slightly town posts.
Fegelein: Slightly town for the same reason as LnGrrrR (i.e. basically gut).
Squilly: Currently of the opinion he's newbietown, since I think someone with claimed offline experience would put a bit more work into learning how to be town online.
Easy reads apart fom maybe LnGrrrR. Also, how can something be extremely slightly? That doesn't make any sense.

I've seen Town Jason and it's a lot more engaged and involved and also not afraid to show reads that are "out there".

---------------------

I'm starting to like the Stubbs wagon a lot more now. While I still prefer Jason, I will be more than happy to jump over if someone actually gives me solid reasoning to unvote Jason, who has not gotten better. LnGrrR is also a possibility as I haven't seen him really do anything more Towny in his posts recently. Rach is my wild-card scum-read. Syr and Fery are my wild-card Town reads. Amrun and CBD remain Town. Null on everyone else.

@Syryana (since I'm not quoting that massive post). I was answering Fery's question, not comparing him to Rach.

I'm voting Rach because I see a lot of similarities in post content/structure between this game and another game we played together while she was sick. She frequently would make short posts like this in that game, with the post only saying she was sick so she couldn't do much, except ask random questions separately (you know also the kind that sound like "wtf why did that happen ???") and constantly refer back to herself being sick whenever she was criticized for... well, anything, not just inactivity. There are a few other things about her posts here that I'm finding hard to explain, but a small part of it is also the random "oh I'm here now guess I have to ISO some people to look town right??".

Sure I have sympathy for her, being sick, but I don't think she should be given a free pass just because of that. It happened in Newbie 1395 as scum, and we almost didn't lynch her because of it.
