Now, onto ‘da rules. Rules that are sorta-ish unique are bolded.

1. I don’t tolerate ad hom wars. If your posting is merely insulting a player without providing game content, you can expect a strike from me. Three strikes, you’re out. I’m fairly lenient about this, but posting “Fuck you” over and over again is simply not acceptable. Severe issues will be reported to the list mod(s).

2. If I say it violates these rules, it does. You can take it up with me postgame if you wish.
3. Play towards your win condition. Gambits are fine, directly harming your own team is not.
4. Once a lynch is reached, you may continue discussion until I lock the thread. No votes or unvotes will count after a lynch has been achieved.
5. A lynch is achieved as a majority of players voting for somebody. Half is not a majority.
6. Do not quote or pretend to quote any information you get from me via PM. This includes posting your role card verbatim. Paraphrasing is fine, as are role claims naturally.
7. Do not talk about this game anywhere else, or with anyone else.

8. If you have family that plays mafia with you, great. However, if there’s any overlap in computer usage, please PM me before the game starts so that we don’t have any accusation of alt cheating.

9. Do not discuss ongoing games in this thread. This includes games on sites other than mafiascum. This also includes using [redacted] as that loophole does not fly here.
10. I am rather lenient upon activity. You must post once every 72 hours. Failure to do so will earn you a prod. Respond to your prod within 24 hours, or face replacement. Three prods is also a force replacement.
11. Day phases will be 2 weeks long. Day 1, however, will be 3 weeks long. All night phases will be 48 hours.
12. I do not require unvotes. Your vote will be counted so long as you bold it or use the vote tag. Shorthand names are fine so long as it’s clear who the vote is for.
13. If you have a question, please PM me. I’m an addict that sits around on his inbox all day anyways. If a question is something that should be answered publically, I will make a post addressing it without naming who asked it.
14. If my vote count is wrong, you can PM me or post in the thread about it.

15. I do not fix tags or edit posts, even if you ask me to.

16. I reserve the right to add to these rules or modify them, but only when I post notifying all players in the game of the change.
17. Loophole abuse is all fun and games until I modkill you. Don’t try it.

20. Extensions will be granted at 48 hours per replacement, up to a total duration of 6 days max per game phase.

A party. 13 good friends. A dumb decision to hail a cab instead of walking home. But it paid off. You've managed to land in the stretch limo-taxi version of the Cash Cab! Nothing quite like dumb trivia questions for free moeny!

But wait. It seems that the cameraman spied a flash of backlit cell phones. Everybody knows cheating is wrong! You can't just google the answers! The cameraman makes you a deal. Turn in the cheaters, and the game can continue. Otherwise, you all are going to be hoofing it from the middle of nowhere, which is exactly where this cab is headed.

For the sake of your feet, you had better find those cheaters, and fast!

Seriously? 4 hydras. This is appalling.

I was going to vote the hydra I saw (in the queue there was only one so I thought, bad, but not terrible) even though I don't really like random voting because I thought I could pressure them from the get go; But this looks insane.

Even though it's from just few experiences, I've seen hydras being awfully anti-town changing their views over-night and "hiding behind their other head".

Mafia wasn't supposed to be a game in which you could excuse yourself in multiple personality disorder. We are supposed to be able to judge the character of the other players and see if their actions fit what they supposedly are. I pride myself in trying to put in other people's shoes to determine their alignment (instead of using any rules set on stone).

Since when do minis allow for unlimited stuff like this? It gives me the vibes of immature forum mafia sites.

Anyway. This is my warning to all hydras. I'm treating you like any other player. I won't accept excuses like:

c) He thinks x but I think y.

When town, I am transparent about the components of our consolidated reads because I believe it advances the town wincon. We're both strong town players. There's no reason to deprive town of our individual takes on players. This goes for any hydra I am a part of, not just SoS. You can deal with that however you please.

When scum, I do what I think advances my wincon, which may or may not involve fabrications about the fabricated componetns of fabricated consolidated reads.

This is fferyllt, btw. I won't be signing my posts.

As to the rest, I'm committed to the game and we use chat and/or QTs to confer about the game.

I agree and will also be treating them as such. Regardless of who performs it, a scum move is a scum move and will affect my read accordingly. If you can't properly coordinate your heads, that's on you, not the town.
