The thing that's really bothering me about my reads is they're not solidifying

this is the issue i've been having d2 and it's primarily because the people i want to post to get better reads on are mostly not posting or posting very little.

who would you have used it on

saki was obvtown after rm flip due to thezmon's interactions with rm. i had some issues with thezmon d1 before i knew rm was scum, but after the flip, no. that was just a bad shot, even if a saki kill would otherwise be a joyous event worthy of celebration.

who i would have used the shot on (assuming i'm muttley, and not me, because i would have killed muttley)? any of the low content posters from d1 that make sense as scum with rm. bro would obviously be my first choice here. if that wasn't already blatantly obvious.

I tried to do something during Day 1. I was getting scum read for catching up and interacting with players and posting my thoughts and chasing after my highest scum read.

These same said people who were voting me for being scum D1 are still alive and voting for me D2.

Although some of the people on my wagon currently I feel are town. So there's a chance this may be a town driven wagon (AJ, Mastin)

Nick did a crazy flip flop on me from Day 1 and it looks survivalist at this point. Which in both ways can be a town tell or a scum tell, but I might be leaning on a scum tell at this point with one scum dead.

BRO is probably scum due to the NK.

Ghostlin is fuck tunneling so I'm not sure, but due to him misrepping me I'm leaning scum.

Mac is just a confused townie.

I'm "eh" on FTL at this point. Something in Day 2 that was posted is making me think town. No I won't point it out. so I'm having mixed feels right now.

You remind me of how I was in Open 489. I felt like the wagons on me were all stupid, ignorant townies and that my scum reads were being ignored and that it didn't matter what I did because town was sheepy or not-posting and scum were taking advantage of that.
So, my gut's all like "Mala town" but the evidence and your plays today make me get all "Mala scum!" and so I'm compromised. I asked MS if I could pressure you and run a gambit that might involve your lynch and he said he'd be fine once I explained the gambit. Of course, I told him not to spill the beans on it, so if he does... *shake fist*

Seriously, I think you are the only player in this game who could make me feel uncomfortable about my Mala read. (That, and nick is going complete survivalist here...) Let's lay out a few things, mostly so you kneejerk reactionary folks can shut up and jam:

1. My entire gambit is getting more activity out of both town and scum. How people interact with what I'm doing will be very telling of their alignment.
2. The Gambit itself will not get anyone modkilled.
3. The Gambit itself will not go against site rules.
4. The Gambit itself will work for the purposes I've outlined, these purposes being to get Nick and Nacho's alignments without having them lynched.
5. The current flow of the day was headed towards a Nick lynch or a no Lynch, unless someone did something that'd divert attention. Everyone was content with that. I challenged it.
6. In challenging the flow of the day, I've been able to PRODUCE more for town than the late complacency, and I've INSPIRED other players to PRODUCE more content as well.


So, if you think my plays are bad, or facepalm-worthy, or I should be NK'd/Vig'd, or that I'm shit-posting, think again.
I could have happily pushed the Nick wagon all day, and it'd go over the hill, and we'd have Nick's alignment.
Then I realized we can have Nick's alignment WITHOUT risking a mislynch on him.
And we'd get Nacho's alignment, too.
AND it'd make me feel way better about how I complacently sat on the Andy wagon yesterday and denied Rach was scum despite that being pretty much wrong. Verdict's still out on Andy, but I'll get to the bottom of that once he gets to the bottom of another case of beer, I imagine.

To the first bolded, I don't give a damn if I'm damned all the way to hell and back. In my eyes, my gambit confirms three players with the cost of one. Just lynching Nick only confirms one player at the cost of one player. It's simply

To the second bolded, this is exactly why you should stop mouthing off. You don't get it. You calling my play stupid isn't getting town anywhere. Put on your big boy pants, AJ. Play the game. Stop whining about how things aren't going the way you think or want them to go. Put your chips on the table. Develop cases. Make significant plays.
