Translation: I'm not calling my partner town because its too obvious. I'll read him as null-town even if my statement says null because i want to a) find an easy way to potentially distance and b) subtly make people think he's town

My issue here is the fact that it was one of those "weak, not willing to give info" reads that scum LOVE to impart onto buddies

This felt legitimate.

Yeah, we're probably lynch bait.

Nacho does sound robotic, by the way

is he just trying to be methodical and just getting bored with catching up in games

or is he walling it up on purpose, or...

his defense/comments about Ceph's play sounded weird idk why gut-wise

Tell me about it. Nacho sucks like that. Total scum magnet.

He's stupid enough to not have you as instant town for the huge townslip you made.

I'd kick him upside the head, but the bastard is half the US away from me.
Uh huh uh huh...but if he did that how are you guys going to get enough mislynches to win? Too many people looking townie right now, sucks to be scum.
Heh. Your posting style amuses me. I'm sure we'll figure out a way. Probably bring tip to lylo and let him vote town out the gate or something. (LYT tippy)
Cheeky. What about my posting style is amusing?
I'm just an arrogant ass like that. I dunno, I just started laughing when reading your posts.

I didn't ask you about tip either.
I clicked the ISO above you name, and saw a question about tippy asked of people who have played with him lots.

This is town-TIP. There's a tell I have that is sitting at 100% effectiveness so far, and the only time i've mislynched him was as scum in my hydra with ffery.
GiF has some lingering concerns about TiP. He says that TiP has boasted about winning a game (Mainstream Mafia?) by acting "too dumb to be scum".

Oh we'll that's fine. As long as I'm not boring. I hate being boring. I don't mind being laughed at.

What I was looking at with sd was post 598. That's what struck me as kinda townish.

Furthermore, that game was a cult game, it's not exactly the same as a scumgame. Tippy was the recruiter and allowed his recruits to do the heavy lifting for the most part. That wouldn't work here even if he were to attempt it.

I know GiF's role card.

But, even if you're scum you'd probably be happy to have a TiP bus in your hip pocket, so I will let GiF hash this out with you if he wants to.

Here it is, found it:

I can't read prohawk for shit until a few days have gone by usually. Also, our hydra game was a scumgame, so my reads there were all faked. (And well faked if I do say so myself) The "Cabd: Arceus of Meta" thing is something I developed here and is very different from my approach to the game on our shared home site (Sixprizes)

He does have a history of reading me incorrectly, however,
so the lack of being able to read the other thing is mutual.

Okay see the thing I liked about it is that I've only ever made a statement like that as town. I don't think to as scum. Posts like that are one of my mafia weaknesses though, I'll readily admit that, but it gives me pause.

TF wrote:He is pretty distressed about his towngame, has a good scumgame. I liked his metashift comments earlier and his "I'm gonna try something new this game", but I don't like that we haven't seen anything from it. That's probably due to the crackheaded pace this game has, but I'll revisit it in the morning.
I was going to try acting all confident and aggressive. Maybe I should have tried harder but being honest is too strong a compulsion.

I'll have to cut my teeth (or something like that) on a worse playerlist at some point.

Though it might not be a shift for the better in terms of my win rate to do that- I'd cause more mislynches but not get lynched as much myself. Guess I have to learn to catch scum first. Though if I haven't managed that in all the mafia I've played... *shrug*

You're right. If you're GIF, you were in mini 1481 and this is nothing like what I rememebrr

Yeah he's playing more passive like his scum game I was in, as opposed to his recklessly aggressive, wagon-happy town style
