I was answering your statement that it would be just as likely for me to make that mistake as scum. And I did explain this last night. I thought it was pretty well known that being investigated is the one thing I truly worry about as scum. I don't worry about a lot of things when scum but I do expect that everyone can easily read me as scum when I'm scum and therefore any investigative roles would automatically default to me.

And if you don't think I'd push it as a town slip, then why did you say that you thought it was because I had a headache AFTER I had mentioned it and Cabd made the post about it being a townslip (and he could have been sarcastic or whatever, but it was already out there.) Therefore, I was already pushing it as a townslip, so why the argument about it?

Cabd remarked that you were stupid for not insta-town reading me after making that town slip (which I'm fully well aware was him being sarcastic). The fact is I was already pushing it as a town slip before you tried to claim that it was probably a mistake made due to some headache I didn't have that night and not due to alignment. If you believe I wouldn't push it as a town slip as scum, then why even bother trying to discount it as not alignment indicative after I was pushing it as a town slip?

If they aren't easy to sort, then why did you have them written off as the people that looked good and not in your need to sort out pile?

You being easy to sort means that I can attack you and figure you out decently easily. Mara is usually easy to read, but I wouldn't call her easy to sort. Majiffy is not easy to read and he's not easy to sort either.

So, you've decided you're not even going to try to sort people you don't find are particularly easy to read. You're just going to sit them in the middle of your reads list and hope it all works itself out?

I liked the immediate paranoia of Mala. In Con Mafia when I contacted her, her immediate reaction was to get inexplicably paranoid of me essentially for doing protown things; I also can't remember the last time that she responded negatively when someone buddied up to her early as scum.

Though I'm pretty sure that, when she goes straight into "working for town" she is, more so that not, scum.

her first few posts are her working for town, and her stroking my own ego both of which are things that put me on edge, especially since she goes after them this early

Followup on this, and isn't complete and total nonsense wrt Mala's scumplay. I've found sometimes Mala is just a little bit easier to work with earlygame as town than she is as scum, so Mara's paranoia here does make a bit of sense.

It means that We've never played a game as town together, and every game I have played with her when I was town she does something incredibly scummy, yet I read her as town for some insane reason and I don't want to do that this game

Consistent with the early attack on Mala, when she ended up backing off was a natural feeling time to me.

I also feel like she was completely out of step on Day 1 in a very good way; she pretty much completely ignored everything that was going on around her and followed her own shit, which pretty much mara-town at her finest. She was out of step like this in #SWAGTOWN, but the way she played this (sorting out Mala first, backing off a little bit) seems genuine as opposed to tunnel the fuck out of the guy who is sheeping your scumbuddy in calling you scum.

Mara's posts while engulfed by Jiffy also seem decently town based on what she takes the time doing (reaffirming TiP town, DEFENDING US) while Majiffy's sent up no real red flags, but his entrance into thread seemed like something he did while isolated since I'm pretty confident he wouldn't shit all over a game Mara was handling perfectly fine as scum on her own.

That wasn't a belief that I held while I was pushing you; it was something that I thought about after the fact and went "well, I guess she wouldn't push it this way as scum". I think that you could still easily pull it off as scum (hell, why wouldn't you?), but I agree you haven't pulled off the whole "I did this and it makes me incredibly town" part of your scumgame yet.
