I am not talking about vote jumping... vote jumping is something different than wagon hopping both of which are null behaviors. However, in games such as http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=28450 no such behavior. Bounced around other games as well and had not noted the behavior but I looked at iso's on that game and quick glances do not demonstrate wagon hopping. He has not shifted his vote to wagon again yet so that remains to be seen. Just something sets me off... something doesn't fit quite rightIn post 525, Thor665 wrote:Can you link me to a KKB game where he didn't jump votes?

I asked for this site meta... Can you show it?In post 523, Thor665 wrote:
Sweet - I never claimed it was logical, all I said was it was site meta to do so.In post 522, Benmage wrote:Where does site meta say to treat you as confirmed town? For claiming D1??? I just Smurfing showed that is idiotic logic.
My evidence is in this thread.
But feel free to go and find me a Day 1 Miller claim where the Miller claimed as part of their first post and was then lynched anytime in the next three days.
I'll wait.
-As far I knew, site meta is for you to claim opening post. Check. Then again, from what I recall is to simply treat you as any other player and go off of your play. NOT have you as confirmtown by any means whatsoever. Also for sometime following KK's infamous fake miller gambit win, meta was to lynch millers on site. Which I fucking agree with, and rather just yell at mods for being fucking pricks. Jesters Godfathers Cops... I thought this was a game of logic and wits, not random dice rolls.ZZZ FARADAY.
-What inthread evidence? You saying its site meta.. thats not evidence.. I want the MD discussion that popular opinion has somehow shifted to treating miller claims as conftown. I mean thats mindfuckingly stupid. You yourself agree its not logical... so why the fuck even follow it?
Pretty much yes. It is day one..I think you're the type of player fully capable of trying to gambit miller claim. What awe inspiring case you looking for?In post 523, Thor665 wrote:

Why am I scum again?
Brilliant...?
-And confirmable, role means what as far as alignment goes... thats right zilch. Hence your agrenda to force conftown yourself reads scummy.

What are the likelihood that you took that seriously as town vs taking the opportunity to push that as scum? I'm leaning the former, actually, but seriously... -.-

Anyway, I don't buy that the mods would have informed the miller about the presence of non-standard cops, so Thor's miller claim looks bogus,
- I'm a miller, but you could still investigate me as town.

Vote Thor
ANY MILLER RETURNS TOWN TO NON-STANDARD COP ROLES, OR IT IS THEN NOT A MILLER BUT SOMETHING ELSE (ie a universal miller, a gravedigger, etc.)
Saying so is not giving additional information and suggesting this is like, blowing my fucking mind. I need to sit with this a bit because my initial reaction is to call zdenek scum for this because he's not a fucking idiot, but it might be kneejerk there.
This quadz wagon is lame. ooba is better. elle is town.
thor will sort itself out.
First point seems lame. I don't find Amrun's behavior wrt chesskid to be out of line.In post 488, Nautilius wrote:

Agrred on second. I don't think kanye is obviously town by any stretch of the imagination, so I don't see why it should be obvious.
Yeah, I kinda hate getting attacked because I'm not jumping down my suspects' throats. It takes a lot to get me to do that.In post 491, Amrun wrote:If what I've already said on the matter hasn't inspired people to vote for Pride and Joy, repeating myself like a broken record won't, either. Expect me to accidentally wander into others' lines of questioning like this, I'm very oblivious about that strategy. In post 494, Amrun wrote:
I didn't really think of this, so sorry. Its D1... lets do it.
unvote vote Thor
@Thorwhy did you have Casso as a Upick, and was he your first pick?
no
why
this is stupid

But if you say you don't always read everything, I believe you. If you want me to refer to past games anyhow- I thought I'd played with you prior to my first departure from the site, but I don't think that's possible due to your join date, so I must just be thinking of Open 326, which I briefly returned for and then re-disappeared.
I wish one of you would spell it out for the class. I don't care about the point itself anymore, but this is a frustrating way to answer questions and I will get upset with you if you continue to provide snark when you could just as easily provide answers. In post 521, Thor665 wrote:

Benny manages to make very slightly less sense than Zeddy - and that takes some doing.

I may be down with the ooba lulz wagon, but I'll admit the copping to the misrep actually feels townish. Ooba is certainly skilled enough that might be a feint to the growing pressure...but my gut kind of says town on that one too, so I think we can do better.

I think it shows a mindset of looking to make the miller claim look bad, hoping that will result in a lynch, without really thinking about it. For example, he's ready to vote and declare Thor scum over something that he agreed after being criticized and looked at the wiki was not something pursuable. If you're going to vote for a role-based reason that would be cleared up by looking at the wiki, wouldn't you like ... look at the wiki FIRST, instead of after being called out on it?In post 539, Cephrir wrote:I believe I've seen it, but also, it's astonishing to me that this looks worse to you than anything else in the thread. As long as you ignore my commentary that I think at least one scum would be trying to present my claim as a reason to lynch me, than - yes, my case is equally as unsupported as his.In post 539, Cephrir wrote:Advocating lynching Benmage via yolologic(TM) the same way he was advocating lynching you? =/
Oh, wait, that was snark again, wasn't it?
Darn.
I'm bad at this.
In other news, Casso is blatantly my real name claim and needs to be analyzed in regards to my Miller claim from a guy claiming my role and alignment and whatnot aren't even connected.

Benmage: Trying to barge into a thread and establish comftown dominance seems like something people do here in general? Arguing that Thor is attempting the miller gambit because Thor claimed miller and.. that's it, makes you sound like a tinfoil hat conspiracy theorist. His vote back on you is kind of omgusy but I think I'd react the same way. Is there something Thor's doing that's actually scummy for him? Same question to Zdenek since he's still holding onto the vote despite admitting the miller thing isn't a good reason.
Quadz, #487 is painful to read, quote strips in bolded quote strips why. The best defense is a good offense, but I'm not sure if I agree with it. I think reads are the only content that matter. That and thought patterns. The counter that's been brought up is ooba's thought patterns are reasonable to follow.

It just kind of made my head explode. Like, omg, vote Thor because he has claimed that a miller works exactly the way a miller works! wut
Voting you because X doesn't think you're a miller, or whatever, is something else entirely.
In related news, I have no idea who Casso is. Someone refresh my memory?
p-edit:
I don't hesitate to scream about scumreads when my jimmies are rustled. I have to feel it in my bones and be on the warpath to feel like doing that. I feel like PnJ is the best vote right now for stated reasons, but I'm not ready to go all martial law on his ass just yet. I'm just going to organically comment on what strikes me about the game, and one of these days, someone will really rustle said jimmies and the fun will begin.- Andrius
